Candy asked Paul Callan, a legal expert, to elaborate on the future of the two young men, stressing their youth and emotional vulnerability.

"Sixteen-year-olds just sobbing in court, regardless of what big football players they are, they still sound like sixteen-year-olds...what's the lasting effect, though, on two young men being found guilty in juvenile court of rape, essentially?"

"The most severe thing with these young men is being labeled as registered sex offenders. That label is now placed on them by Ohio law...That will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Employers, when looking up their background, will see that they're registered sex offenders. When they move into a new neighborhood and somebody goes on the Internet, where these things are posted, neighbors will know that they are registered sex offenders."

I don’t care if they are Rhodes Scholars, if they raped someone they need to be in prison of some sort. They knew EXACTLY what they were doing.

So they are labeled, big whoop. Should have thought of that prior to whipping IT out.

Maybe they’ll get a taste of their own medicine in prison.

“...what’s the lasting effect, though, on two young men being found guilty in juvenile court of rape, essentially?”

I think the more appropriate question to be asking right now is this: What will be the lasting effect on the young girl who was raped by these two young men?

Leftists support the rapists because one of them is black..a black raping a fellow black is not a “crime” now if it were just the white student the left would be demanding his hanging

Don't think too many people are liking CNN for that report.

As far as I am concerned, it could not happen to nicer, more deserving guys.

The crocadile tears were because they got caught. The "I never intended..." was that he/they neverintended to get caught. He/they never intended to be prosecuted, tried aand convicted. My sympathies lie with the victim. She learned a valuable lesson the hard way. To wit: be careful with you associate with. In closing I would opine that Paul Callan should be drugged, photographed nude in lewd poses, and said photos be widely distributed. And in addition to the former, be both anally and orally raped repeatedly. But, in my opinion, he would enjoy the whole scenerio.

I haven’t followed the case but did she drink voluntarily? Were the boys drunk? Any court opinions on excessive drinking?

Gee - let’s see - they’re labeled sex offenders because - hmm - let’s think about this for a second - oh wait - i’ve got it - they’re labeled sex offenders because they committed rape (and then tweeted about it). Yeah, that’s it. In fact, I’m sure of it.

“CNN Reports On The ‘Promising Future’ of the Steubenville Rapists, Who Are ‘Very Good Students’”

Yeah, possibly starting with an internship with the Dept. of Injustice under Eric Holder.

Seems the D.A. isn't finished.

Steubenville Rape Update: Bystanders, coaches and parents will now be focus of Ohio AG Mike DeWine

"Rape is not a recreational activity," said DeWine.

Because of this, DeWine concluded that "this investigation cannot be completed without the convening of a grand jury." A grand jury can compel witnesses to testify. Possible charges that might result, said DeWine, are failure to report a felony, and tampering with evidence.

According to Ohio criminal code, "no person, knowing that a felony has been or is being committed, shall knowingly fail to report such information to law enforcement authorities." Rape is a felony.

I don’t take any pleasure in the rape, the dehumanizing and depraved porn/homo/slut mentality and culture that led to the rape, the harm to the girl nor the harm the boys have done to themselves and their own lives.

I am thankful there is still justice because with amoral globalism/tribalism, this society could easily slip into a third world hell hole for women and girls.

It is just a sick and sad event, no matter how you look at it. Liberals have to be stopped in promoting animalistic sex to children and in the public square. If they want to be supersluts in their bedrooms with 100 men, fine, they can ruin and kill themselves. But they have no right to make self destruction a public, childhood, family, legal and government death cause.
