Dated but still relevant.

Always have a lawyer on standby. Do not ever deal with government officials or law enforcement by yourself.

Just an irritant to me about the writing: he says he’s talking to “evan Nappen” (apparently on the telephone but not stated as such) but doesn’t get around to identifying Mr. evan Nappen as his lawyer until the sixth line.

A while back I had a break in. I warned the cops clearing the house that there were guns inside because we didn’t know if the people were still inside.
As soon as they cleared the home the first thing I wanted to do is check to make sure the firearms were still there. Found the key in my gun safe but everything was there. First thing one of the cops asked is “how many guns do you have?”
Its tough telling cops no. I admire this guy for being strong enough to do so.

Does anyone know where the pic that started this was displayed? FB? Taken to school to show to friends?

Nappen (my lawyer) asked me for the dyfs workers name. she wouldnt give it. i asked for credentials and she wouldnt show em. i tried to take a pic of her and she turned around real fast and walked away. These "officials" respond to cameras like vampires respond to a crucifix. Best to have several. If you take a pic of one on your cell phone, IMMEDIATELY send it to a friend (or preferably your lawyer) before they have a chance to intimidate you into deleting it.
We really need an app which can be used to take a pic and send it to a pre-set destination in one click.

Maybe soon Americans will realize that they have lost their freedom and what little we have is hanging on by a thread. Communists are rapidly controlling America and our rights are disappearing.

The picture at the link shows the kid didn’t have his finger in the trigger. Gun safety 101 and all that. I really don’t see the problem here, folks.

Spend $100 and get a lawyer on retainer and his number on your phone contacts.

Should have called one of your neighbors, to have them remove the valve stem cores out of the "cops and dyfs" tires, while they were inside your house.
Make it cost them in dollars and time.
If they then leave their vehicle there, while waiting on a tow, burn it.

I would have asked the police for the identity of the Dyfs, saying that you intended to file a complaint against the Dyfs, and it would be essential for any litigation that the identity of their agent be part of the police record as a material witness, also in case criminal charges are eventually filed.
I’m pretty sure the police would have to at least put it in their records, and once in there as “certified” by the police, there is no more “wasn’t me” defense.

Anyone got a clue what dyfs are?
Pardon me by asking, but more and more I wonder what the legal procedure is in executing search warrants.
Doesn't the recipient of the warrant have a legal right to read the warrant, keep a copy of it and get legal help to know that it has been properly executed before the storm troopers wreck the place?
