About 6" of the stuff here. (Umm.. Do you still use English measure there or do I have to say 16 cm...???!!!)
LOLYou're not a prisoner of the EU,so you can say it however you like.
For a rough guide to things ,these are some of the installed codes: mm, cm, inches, feet, yards, meters, miles.
The simple rule is: Find the measurement that fits the situation with the least effort, and use that.
eg, Bricks are 8" long. Con-blocs are 30cm !
I refuse to use Km and Centilitres. Pah.
The Blue smear over north east was not a political statement,Honest.
:)
Based on the present method that the Lamestreammedia uses, with blue indicating libs, er, demonbats, yes it is. A political statement that is. A blue smear.. Populated by drainbramaged obomabots and their ever increasing taxes. (Of course, in New York, there is no discernable difference between the demonbats and the rinocans...) Have a good day Moose. Don't drown in the torrential fog!
Come on, really, did you feed ‘em to the gators, slop the hogs, or just run them through the wood chipper? Enquiring minds wanna know. (/s, as if! Sheesh!)
Oh! Two big, orange cats! Heaven...
And a catbeems window. Makes me want to nap already.
Nap? I’m still trying to pry my eyes open.
I want my global warming and I want it NOW!!!
You can send that snow over here, RG. I feel as if I didn’t get enough of it this year (or last year, for
that matter).
It’s warm (34°) and breezy here today, but overcast. I don’t understand why this part of the country,
even though it’s in the northeast, suffers from global warming when no one else does.
Two days ago, the snow passed us to the north. Yesterday, it passed us to the south. And here we sit,
unprecipitated upon. I worry about the water table. We buy electric and phone only, everything else
is propane, well, and septic system.
The seasonal swamp has flowing water in it, though. We’re probably all right. But I like the snow.
43 and drixxle here. Sally and Pat are off to the “Envirothon,” with several other nerdy children. This will test their knowledge of forestry, aquatic resources, soil science, wildlife, and local environmental issues. Also, they will spend the day in the mud, because it rained all night in Salisbury, just as it did here.
I’m going to Weight Watchers, and I’ve delegated returning library books to Bill, because I also have to go to Walmart: we’re out of baby-mush.
If shipping weren’t so expensive out of Gotham I’d send you a truckload. However, it will likely all be melted off by the end of the day.
Being on an island I don’t worry much about drought - well that and there isn’t any farmland for miles.
I will gladly give my share of Greek yogurt ro Mrs. HKMk23. Good health to her! *hug*
Now THAT was a funny man! Extremely talented and very savvy.
*hugs to you again*
ACK! Green stuff on one map, blue stuff on the other! No wonder my bones hurt! Get it away! It hurts us!
Face has wondered if she and I were related due to certain parallels.
One of which was the misreading of things in a hurry and going, “Hunh, that actually made sense.”
Mrs. ArGee wanted to know whether there was a Joey Snake to counter Benny Hill.
That was her way of suggesting too much humor about breasts in the shows.
But Benny WAS funny. A always loved those high-speed vignettes at the end.
I finally discovered a lot more things make sense if I start with the assumption I have no idea what's going on.
I never know what’s going on, hence why family reunions tend to be chaotic.
