I didn’t stumble, I was pushed!
That is because of your wisdom and balance. Before 2008, I didn’t have any.
Um...Oxford....
What’s GI?
The barrier net landing was a perfectly viable way to break pursuit.
Honest.
And note that the shuttle was undamaged except for the paint.
And a few shaken up passengers.
Gastro-intestinal?

Backrrom is found at the above coordinates.
Note: There be monsters!
You can also have cold beverages in the library, and cold or hot snacks; tea, biscuits, fruit, cheeses, meats...the list is limited only by your desire.
The Library is mostly MY place, but it, like the other places (bars, gyms, kitchens, etc) are open 24/7 to everyone. I just hang out here because I designed it. *blushing*
All fine here. Kathleen has just been outside creepying on the lawn and nibbling on rocks and dirt. DP was grossed out by the rock-munching and brought her in to eat crackers, and there goes my clean floors ;-).
Bill’s been out with his friends for the last 24 hours, but I got a call from University of North Carolina about his transcript yesterday, so I know they’re working on his application. Hopefully he’ll get his acceptance soon, along with a ballpark figure on the tuition. (We didn’t know it until today, but there’s a tax credit for that!)
Tom, Elen, and Pat are at camp with the Boy Scouts, practicing archery (in rather high winds, but no rain). Sally went to a youth retreat with the Bishop at Belmont Abbey today, and I’ll pick her up from the carpool location at 5:00. We took the other kids to Chick-Fil-A for lunch.
As soon as I finish my Diet Coke, I have to sort a load of laundry and empty the dishwasher, then load up Frank and Kathleen to go pick up Sally and go to Walmart, while DP takes James and Vlad to Mass. We should all return in time for supper and not have to go out again.
And I’m on Disk 6 (out of 30) of “Anna Karenina.” It’s not as outrageously horrible as Anoreth implied, but I’m more tolerant of domestic minutiae and low-grade psychological warfare than she is.
(/ overwhelming banality)
The Smoky Back Room is actually where we (The Undead Thread) began our “life.” It happened when Stag rode his pet T-Rex through the back wall. I mean, what could we do but re-build???
Maybe it’s because your stickers are so expensive.
My annual sticker is only about 52 Pounds (Is that how I say it?) of your money. $80 Canadian.
“nibbling on rocks and dirt”
She watched the Battleflies again, didn’t she.
Re: monsters
No problem. I ignore them.
Thankfully there wasn't a visit from 'Martin Baker', that would have damaged the Décor.
Government Issue. Another term for someone in the military, specifically army.
Unless you are in the medical field, and then it is “gastro-intestinal,” and I abhor the term. The military is more familiar and I will use their acronyms, thanks! LOL!
;o]
I especially enjoy the hot chocolate and warm cc cookies.
See #375
You have to get your minerals somewhere!
I don’t have to see mine when I look in the mirror. Unless I twist around to see them. I’m lucky that way.
Besides, the way I figure it, there are worse ways to be defined than by 9” scars on my butt. LOL! I laughed when I first saw them after the surgery, all stapled up.
A cheering-up picture of Frank!
