Music, movies, mad rumblings in the mind ... it's all the same track.

Today its-a Head East. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EB7h5aWPPd0

For what it's worth, that opening speaker you hear is John Schlitt. After going a bit nuts and quitting Rock 'n' Roll to save his marriage, he became the lead singer for the Christian Rock 'n' Roll group "Petra."

I be East Bound and Down. Seeing to it the Bandit helps with the run. Now that is scary. Sure to put me on another list.

Was that the song that goes:

East bound and down
Loaded up, turducken!!!

I could never figure out how the turducken figured in to that story, but I still want to try one someday.

I’m confused again. Was that Auntie Am?

Auntie Am has never been the same since I told her about those two women I killed during that strange vacation in the hot-air balloon.

Bryan bought a new-flavor medley of cat foods for our picky eater, Lucas Prince
of darkness (pictured below, sitting on the "concrete" cat, with the late, lamented
Slinker at his feet), and one of the flavors was Turducken.

That was when Luke and Slink were about 6 or 7, and both were healthy. Slink
died of lymphoma when they were 8. Luke never recovered from the loss. He
still mourns for my late Rocket, too. Luke is almost 15 now.

I’m sorry for the loss of Slink. I’m not sure how that relates to “Smoky and The Bandit.” On the other hand, not relating to “Smoky and The Bandit” is probably a good thing. That film had absolutely nothing going for it.

Sally Field excepted, of course.

Well, it wasn’t my fault. One of the women was killed when I knocked into a house and caused it to fall on her. When I told the little girl and the three strange characters with her that she had to bring me a little broom, I didn’t know they were going to take that as a command to kill the first woman’s sister.

I barely got out of there alive.

Yes, we gave it four stars. Thought it was really good, in spite of Richard Dreyfuss.

I didn’t think anyone was interested in the movie reviews. After all, it isn’t as if you can’t find movie reviews all over the Internet.

Not much to root for in NY this year...

Now picture living in NY, the realmdom of WannabeEmperor Cuomo, after growing up in Ohio. Hint: Back home, words like Yankees and Giants get your mouth washed out with lye soap, even thinking the name Art Modell (who was fortunate enough to die before anyone from the Dawg Pound could interview him personally) causes your brain to be locked up for a fortnight, anything with 'Detroit' in its name brought to mind a bombed out slum long before Detroit was a bombed out slum..

Anyway... for some reason the media in this part of the Cuomoempire just doesn't cover anything that has 'Indians' or 'Browns' in its name.

But lately, that may be an act of mercy... ;-)
