Regarding HBO...good for you. As for your cable? Appreciate your honesty...you don’t want to give up your cable TV...that’s your choice. Can’t control everything? I agree. My taxes pay for abortions. But I can deny money to the leftist entertainment industry, and I choose to do so. If people choose to criticize me for that; fine by me...that is their right...and vice-versa.
I don't choose to criticize you for that... it's your right. If it works for you? Terrific! I just don't agree that the best way to deal with Leftists is, to completely withdraw from them and pretend they don't exist.

I LOVE it when a POS movie like the "Promised Land" flat out BOMBS at the box office, costing Matt Damon a CHUNK of money! :-) And, I LOVE it when a low budget film like Soul Surfer makes a mint. :-P
I love Movies... I like music. No doubt, MOST of the people who excel at making both of these are liberals. It's a fact of biology, I think. But, there are also a bunch of people in Hollywood who want to make MONEY.. and, they know... the best way to do that is, make movies people LIKE.
They'll edit like crazy to stay away from an "R" rating... artistic license be damned... because, they want the AUDIENCE.
If they do it right, I'm not too proud to be one of the ones rewarding them for it.
