“Registering” as regards a party in today’s political environment is just plain dumb.

The only thing that registering gets you is constant and irritating requests for YOUR money from people you don’t want in elected office.

Don’t feed the beast...de-register completely regarding “party”.

At the very least, it would de-legitimize the corrupt kabuki theater we call “The Primaries”!

I want the Democrats to waste their time and money on me. I like that part of it the best. I don’t need the GOP to waste their resources on me, heck, the last election I got 73 pounds of junk mail from the GOP. I saved it all and weighed it. LOL!

I’m glad that in our state, Illinois, we aren’t required to choose a party, when we register. I don’t want to call myself a registered Republican, since too many IL Republicans are too liberal.
