Bummer on the car. I hate working on them anymore, because of all the crap on them.
Maybe you can make it to the garden center another weekend. Having a master gardener you can ask questions is a darn good thing to have in the local area.

Best Damm Mole trap I've ever used and I've used them all. The brand is Cinch and they have been on the market for a 100 years, they come in 3 sizes, Large, Medium and Small and SMALL is what you use for Moles. They are available from Amazon or eBay and other sources and are about $75.00 for 6 which makes them $12 apiece. They are a little harder to set than a Macabe so I use the vice in my workshop and carry the loaded trap to the yard where I am placing them. Only the jaws go in the tunnel and the stamped steel portion sticks out of the mound at a slight angle from vertical or you can dig a plug large enough to lay it flat

How do I find those? Is there a place to put in zipcode or something to find one?
We have some box stores with gardening sections, a couple of nurseries and a few garden clubs of various kinds in the area, plus an ag college within an hour ....there ought to SOMEONE of that description in our area...but it would be nice to know about if they are certified Master Gardener or not!
(We all KNOW I’M certifiable....LOL!)
