From KCal 9 News around 1:30 PM PST - Sorry, I don't own a PVC so I had to use my phone. I have this footage saved on my DVR.
Edit: To address comments: No, I did not edit this. This is recorded with my cellphone. This was recorded by reporter Carter Evans. It is not radio chatter that is being heard. He says earlier in the broadcast, (which I can also upload) that he is speaking to them via his speakerphone on the ground from the middle of the shootout, and the cops can also be heard telling him "get the f*** out of here pal". The timestamp of this event is ~1:35pm.

Rodney King, OJ Simpson, Christopher Dorner.
That’s the last thing they wanted. Just think about all the dirty laundry and ensuing riots. Or Dorner getting off. How sickening would that be?
He would have been a hero in prison and would have been running the place almost immediately.
What’s interesting about this is he used this cabin out of opportunity. Where did all the ammo come from that was supposedly ‘Heard’. I doubt he ran into the cabin with more than 1k rounds.
If I was a black man on the LAPD force, I’d be a little puckered right now.
You do make a good point. He could have been set up. Who is to say anymore?
I won't be surprised to learn that he was seen running back to the truck to get some matches. ;-)
I think they should be fired, arrested and spend time in jail.
Trying to compare their incredibly stupid actions to what Dorner did is ridiculous.
What is your problem with what happened in the end to Dorner?
Hmmmm ... what about that "dirty laundry"?
I can think of several other prominent institutions that have been pilloried and excoriated for hiding "dirty laundry". Let's apply the same standards to our public servants in government at all levels. Let's see that dirty laundry.
If our public servants, paid for with our taxes, can't handle seeing their "dirty laundry" out in public then they should find another line of work.
Are you thinking of the Wichita Massacre? Not days but hours - still horrific enough - a crying shame those brothers didn’t get the death penalty - they had killed others too.
Also not making national news just this last year - elderly white couple raped and beaten to death in Tulsa by black(s)- elderly couple robbed and murdered in Kentwood MI by a black - four white women robbed and murdered in Tulsa again, by black brothers, white girl robbed and murdered by black brothers in South Jersey.
The media is definitely censoring crimes committed by blacks where race hatred may be a contributing factor, and playing up those committed by whites, which are fewer.
I still say Dorner was an Establishment-hater, a cop-hater with a racial grievance, but not a white-hater. He didn’t kill the man whose boat he tried to steal, and he didn’t kill the couple whose truck he stole, and they were probably white.
I’m done trying to reason with someone who is irrational. Good luck.
My first instinct is to believe he was just a murderous psychopath. I am sorry for those innocents who died, were hurt or lost loved ones.
ROFL!!!!
This isn't about me.
It's about criminal behaviour by creeps in uniform.
They did the same at WACO..... Burn it down is the new
Obama battle cry.
I’m not an idiot who is jumping to the conclusion that he was executed.
Amen Axamari! This is scarey stuff, the stuff of tyranny.
What was the Keanu Reeves cop movie, Street Kings? where the key line in the movie was about how the “truth does not matter, it’s what we write in our reports.”
Kinda sounds like one particular Secretary of State, eh?
Did you see the original post i was commenting to?
“Cant say I blame them. They are human, they dont want to get shot. This guy was literally a mad dog and needed to be put down. We could use more of this attitude.”
Did the cops know if the really had him in that cabin? Did they know if he was alone?
Did the cops know if the really had him in that cabin? Did they know if he was alone?
Better yet, did they care?
“Clearly” the action at the cabin didn’t differ much from the shooting up of the vehicles.
—Did the cops know if the really had him in that cabin? Did they know if he was alone?—
Yes.
Might want to check you facts.
My apologies for being misinformed. I had no malice in my statement, I was simply lacking specific knowledge.
