Friend of mine just got hearing aids that are bluetooth capable, so they’re also wireless headphones for any bluetooth device. There’s gotta be some sort of bluetooth audio for TVs. Kind of an expensive solution, but pretty cool.
I have hearing aids that have wireless capabilities, and can be linked to an
Icom Phonak. The Phonak is basically a blue-tooth link between a blue-tooth-capable device (smartphone, IP-phone, and some TV's). It also has an audio linking accessory that you can use to transfer audio to blue-tooth via a normal audio (earphone) mini-jack. It works kind of like a Star Trek communicator with a cellphone (freaks some people out). It turns my disability into an advantage, and I wouldn't be without it...
