For many Americans, Fox News is their alternative choice for news. Theyve made it the No. 1 cable news network, largely because they believe its fair and balanced promotional slogan? Many even believe Fox leans to the right and provides news they cant get anywhere else. But is Fox really different from the rest of the media? Or has it been successful merely at positioning itself as different? Would it surprise you to know that individuals at News Corp., the parent company of Fox News, gave nearly six times as much money to Barack Obama than Mitt Romney in the 2011-2012 election cycle?

This is not a Conservative network
FNC sucks but so does WND.
You’ll find this study by George Mason University interesting. Although it is several years old it does have a good insight. While Fox isn’t Conservative, it does give the most down the middle coverage (in terms of time spent to each side).

Much ado about nothing.
So FNC is bad and WND points this out and they are bad as well? OK!
There are a number of people that tend toward the liberal point of view, particularly during the day. But, there are some that tend toward the right also. So I guess they are closer to balanced than any of the other channels.
There is no conservative network. Even the conservative radio stations usually have one liberal on the staff.
Fox has never been conservative; they just didn’t hate America.
Besides, “fair and balanced” is really political correctness in practice.
Conservative would be “factual and true”.
IMHO WND is a conspiracy rag.
Local radio has FN at the top and half hour. Every darn day its Obama speaking or some Democrat with rarely a Conservative voice to counter. Is that fair and balanced, not to me.
Whereas the MSM is just outright lies.
What Morris said. The reason people think Fox is a conservative channel when it isn’t is that it’s straight down the middle, so it seems like a con network compared to the rest of the big media universe.
And Farah is the Arnold Horseshack of conservative media.
It was an alternative for a while. Anymore it is just more of the same. Be willing to bet they made the mistake of hiring some ex-CNN, ex-NBC, etc editors and producers. Then the new hires turned around and started bringing in their old buddies from leftist newsrooms. Whenever you hire a leftist to lead a newsroom they will only hire leftist writers and graduates from leftist colleges, known fact.
...crossed with paranormal tabloid. They still regularly report on dinosaur sightings.

Agree that FNC lacks true Conservative creds., it’s a far cry better than it’s competition! Have you looked at CNN, MSNBC or Bloomberg recently? They are notthng more than a mouthpiece for Obama.
Until someone with HUGE bucks backs a cable channel this won’t change. That being said, I’d prefer to get my “NEWS” from FNC than ay of their competitors
WND is an excellent sight.
Why attack conservatives when there are so few? Leave something for our enemies to do.
So FNC is bad and WND points this out and they are bad as well? OK!
Seems the WND hate started when they busted GW Bush trying to push the North American Union nonsense. Of course, the report was true....but after that the NeoCons got wobbly over WND
What ever floats your boat.
My opinion is different.
I know, I know.
If Fox could make more money by leaning left they would.
NewsCorp is about making money and I’ll bet Obama being president has brought them huge ratings so it wouldn’t really surprise me if they gave more to Obama campaign. That and if Obama won they wanted to have some access.
Why is WND attacking Fox?
