I agree with you about Keyser. Seems the agenda this year was to make sure the winner, if it had to be a guy, would be one who was on the cultural fringe in some way.

That agenda, plus the clown judges (with one exception) make the show almost unwatchable for me. I record the show, read the wonderful, funny snarkies on this thread, zip through the recording to stop and watch segments deemed watchable based on the comments made.

You people have lifted the snark to an art form. And you Silent_Jonny, have provided the canvas. Love it! Thank you.

Amber has the most star potential in the final 7. Her singing has been flawless for the past 2 weeks and her stage presence is stunning.

The folks inhabiting these threads generally prefer Caucasian performers and pull for low-rent mediocre white talent over everything else. They like country or Americana-styled white men the most. They despise beautiful, glamorous, sexy women with powerful voices and sophisticated stylings and prefer 22-year-old guitar strumming dudes who can't sing their ways out of paper bags.

If Lazaro was straight and of Anglo-Saxon descent, the ladies on the thread would be swooning for him.

Kree, Janelle and Candice are great. Lazaro is a flat-out abomination. Burnell is pathetic. Angie has no soul, and will never have any soul...because she won't ever pay a single due.

The music business, and R&B in particular, needs more Amber Holcombs. What a class act.
