Dunno, probably can’t afford any.
Nvidia's Tegra 4 Will Fix Your Cameraphone Photos
**************************EXCERPT****************************
LAS VEGASDon't you hate it when you take a picture outdoors and the blue sky turns white? Nvidia's new Tegra 4 processor for phones and tablets may be able to fix up your photos, as well as speeding up everything from Web page loads to games.
"Because our phone is now our most important camera, the ability to capture that magical moment comes and goes," Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said here at CES. "In life, you only get one shot."
I’m guessing, and hoping, it’s doing more with imagers than just measuring light intensity per pixel - it’s doing calculations on that data to elicit even more imaging information. Remember news not long ago about a camera which took pictures that could be re-focused after the fact by the viewer? That’s just the start.
I keep envisioning adding a light sensor to each pixel on a display panel. Knowing the precise position of each, and operating fast enough, methinks one could grab intensity data and then, with some hardcore math & optical physics, take a large-frame photo - without a lens. Petty among other applications, we could finally have video conferencing where each person actually looks like they’re looking at the other and not annoyingly off-screen.
