I studied it for way too many iterations.

First thing I noticed is that the breakdown of the surface tension travels faster than the BB.

Then I noticed that the front surface didn’t break into droplets like the back surface, but was pulled away from the point of penetration.

Then I noticed that the smaller bubble was spun by the passing collapse.

And then I looked at the reflection in the bubble’s surface. A face can be seen there; presumably the photographer. And a fluorescent ceiling lamp.

Then I noticed that I needed more coffee.

Any compliment for the illustration should go to you. For your post of the kitty with bubble picture began the thought process and began the illustration via words of words written throughout history warning of the dangerousness of bubbles. My compliments to you.
