I studied it for way too many iterations.
First thing I noticed is that the breakdown of the surface tension travels faster than the BB.
Then I noticed that the front surface didn’t break into droplets like the back surface, but was pulled away from the point of penetration.
Then I noticed that the smaller bubble was spun by the passing collapse.
And then I looked at the reflection in the bubble’s surface. A face can be seen there; presumably the photographer. And a fluorescent ceiling lamp.
Then I noticed that I needed more coffee.
