"I often get asked why I don’t use the AC in my car." About the only time I use the compressor in my delivery vehicle is when I need the defroster to clear the windows on a rainy day.
It doesn't make sense to me to either be rolling the windows up and down to use the AC, or fighting the solar oven it becomes if you leave it too long.
I grew up with 2/55 air conditioning, and I still like it!

I grew up with 2/55 air conditioning, and I still like it! That's expensive a/c. Rolling down the windows at speed creates significant drag that your engine has to overcome.
With gasoline at today's prices, I use artificial air.
