From past studies have found that adults can do the darnedest things with empty boxes. Empty boxes; they aren't just for moving things around, anymore. Give an adult an empty box (if large enough) and zoom, zoom, zoom ... instant anything which comes to mind can occur. The elderly are particularly prone to do imaginative things with an empty box. Keep the sharp instruments away from the elderly though, if housed in assisted living or nursing care, for these elderly will formulate a plan of escape. I know the first thing am going looking for if placed in assisted living or nursing care is a large empty box and something sharp.
