ChildISH, childLIKE, outright malicious — though He may more or less despise our behavior, I see no grounds for the notion that it alters how God feels about us.
“For God so loved THE WORLD...” is inescapably all-encompassing, and that PRIOR to or salvation (!).
Jesus puts a laser focus to it in John 15:9 where He drops this bombshell statement:
“As The Father has loved Me, so I have loved you.”
Pull your brain off onto the shoulder for awhile and ponder that claim.
Jesus loves YOU the same way The Father loves Him.
IOW, the holy, pure, and unmitigated loved shared within the Godhead, is — in every respect — the selfsame love with which we are loved by Him.
Do you now begin to grasp why the Tribulation is to be so intense? It is nothing less than an unthrottled manifestation of the fervor of Ultimate Love destroying EVERYTHING that separates it from the objects of its Heart’s Desire EXCEPT each man’s own will, which He holds inviolable.
