The laptop would need the driver. A Driver is just a piece of translation software. It allows one system to talk to another. “For this input here, do this...” Kind of thing.

Palms webpage should have them. Or, if you are running Windows, try doing a software Update. It might find the missing Driver from the MS update servers.

I can’t access the Palm website. it’s been down for two days.

I have downloaded drivers, and though it says they were installed correctly, there is no communication at the Hot Sync stage. The Palm doesn’t recognize the computer, or vice versa.

It seems most of the drivers are updated, but I just can’t seem to get beyond this.
