Yeah, Scientology is always good for a chuckle; at least until you find out what they’ll stoop to doing to Scientologists who decide they don’t want to be Scientologists, anymore.
I recall my thought upon first learning that there exists an actual Church of Satan; I thought it quite a waste; he has the Scientologists and other cults carrying water for him already, more or less covertly, so what’s the point? Many of these cults get positively demonic about people deciding to part company with them, so it isn’t as if Satan has any lack of dedicated forums in which to express himself. Well, that train of thought derailed when I connected it with the nature of The Beast, and then things became crystal clear: The Egomaniacal Narcissistic Destroyer of the Universe simply COULD NOT abide there NOT being a church with his name on it.
