Russian PM not joking – extraterrestrials live among us according to MIB documentary

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled “Men in Black” that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.

However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: “You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name.” So Medvedev was referring to a Russian “documentary film” titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...

Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhower’s alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earth’s resources in exchange for advanced technology...

I’m sorry Gramma! Gramma should not be “off-limits” at any time, but unfortunately some daughters are not thinking of how they will feel when it comes time for THEM to be grammas.

I’m waiting for the jury to come back on that, once this baby is born. I missed most of my grandsons’ lives because of the way my daughter felt about me.

But what goes around comes around. I will pray that your daughter’s heart will be softened and that she will come to realize that your help and love are inestimable in young Marshall’s life.

*HUG*

I think the Mod Gods show up here just to see how we’re faring in the Asteroid Belt. One never knows about such things.

We’re usually left to our own devices, and often have to ask that one of our own posts be removed, rather than a post from someone else.

They might also be checking on the *ahem* denizens of the lower Levels. The rascals do get out once in a while!

Perhaps Anoreth is the Tax-Chicklet version of the World’s Tallest Short Person. We have one of those in our family, though as she has aged, she is a little more visible. ;o]

Ugh. Blu stuff in Southern Nevada. No sun today, but lots of wind, for sure. *sigh*

Hiya, Moose!

Mr. Bill the Beastie was insured and registered in another state, and there is a 30-day grace period here, where we can drive while getting all the things in place.

In Nevada, if you drive with a cell phone in your hand, and you get pulled over, the first offense is a $25 fine. The second offense is $200, and they will go up from there. The more times you do it, the higher the fines are. So it’s either Bluetooth or shut the phone off, even if you encounter emergency situations.

Why would we want one of our own posts removed? Typsos are allowed. The place is all about fun and letting it all hang out. Wait—then, again, you could have inadvertently posted something that came out wrong and could be misinterpreted—nevermind.

Today’s idiot driver award goes to the person in the red Isuzu (w/ “Forward” bumper sticker) who managed to be in all 3 lanes (left, right, turn lane) on the Cape May bridge at the same time.
I’m thinking of starting a points system for this. You can get 5 points each for your driving idiocy, based on how many traffic laws you break. You get 5 points for each nonsensical liberal bumper sticker, 10 more if your license plate is from New York or Massachusetts, and 5 more if it’s from any other northern state that is not New Jersey.
Then you can get more bonus points depending on type of vehicle, age/sex of driver, etc, up to another 10. I need to work up another system for that, starting with a 16-year-old female in any type of Honda or a Ford Focus and going up from there. You can also get max points on this if you are anybody at all in a Toyota Prius.

In other news, a person a little down the street from here (in the “nice” part of Villas) now has a new Rolls-Royce Phantom. It’s very handsome. Theirs is kind of a silver-blue color.

Seeing the way most people drive, it occurs to me that I really should invest more in tire and tow-truck facilities.

Good Day to you All!
Hope we are having a nice weekend regardless of any weather that may be in the offing.
Been out in the warm stuff this afternoon ,enjoying a walk along one of our more famous canals.

The Kennet and Avon Canal runs from Bath near Bristol to Reading (40 miles west of London). It links the Severn navigation to the Thames navigation, 'tho it has been used solely for pleasure purposes since the 70's.

The Ducks and other water foul did appear to be in top form and loving the concept of an approaching Spring.
Judging from the amount of bread they where consuming around the moored up long-boats thoughts of nesting where in the air.

No sign yet of spring flowers however the Nut trees are in full Catkin and the grass is growing.
We walked out to the next village and enjoyed a Pub lunch on the banks of said Canal.
After downing a few of the liquid refreshments that are on offer in this area, continued on for a few more miles, then caught the Train back to the start.
A most entertaining afternoon was had by all.

Do these points win prizes as they accumulate or Greenshield stamps? :)
