The Tea of Madness!
“But it’s NOT my fault!”
That’s good ,just checking.:)
Darks ,No one is blaming you!
No matter how it may look, there is no evidence to pin it on you!
Besides if it was you the targeting would have been at a more collaterally expensive target.
:)
Unless that was a practice run......
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was black as soot.
Everywhere that Marry went,
It’s sooty foot he put.
LOL. You repeated yourself. I watched that particular vid and the music *was* just noise.
There was another dash-cam video I saw, in a less Urban setting, and this fireball was most impressive in both videos. Prayers for the folks on the ground near that airburst. FNC was showing some buildings damaged.
It’s a dogs delight to bark and bite ,
as it is a birds to sing.
But if you sit on a redhot brick,
it’s an early sign of spring.
Undead Thread history: Odd happenings in foreign countries, say for example the appliances act possessed, gets blamed on me.
];-)
But yes, it may have been a test.
And only a test.
They may now go back to the grey dreary sky living they enjoyed before.
Well, I was admittedly being overly generous.
You’re renowned for that. Generous to a fault, as with that first cup of coffee that’s free.
Meanwhile, Fred the Insane spent some time in the bathroom sink last night. How did we know? He unscrewed the drain stopper again...he’s getting closer to learning how to turn the tap on. Chupacabra loves water.
{sigh}
Vacation’s almost over, back to work Monday, so I’m melancholy today.
Fred-help, he’s getting more clever.
Afternoon, all. Vlad is explaining the general properties of arithmetic to James. Pat is giving examples, using Greek variables. James is flummoxed. Have I mentioned he’s not the sharpest knife in the chandelier? ‘Face says she’s out of Interwebs again.
Maybe it has to do with the meteor in Russia which is not Darksheare’s fault.
Greek variables.
Even better.
Has he used buzzwords like “Epsilon Theta subsets” yet?
No, but I’m sure he’ll tell us about his camping trip to Epsilon Theta, once he gets back.
“Mom! I got to talk to the Hounds of Tindalos! They came in through the angles!”
Yah. Like that. It's getting hilarious. Maybe I should jot down all the typsos and their equivalents?
Now THAT’s what I call a “tea cosy!”
(I wonder if the pattern is available...?)
When I attempted tutoring in Algebra, sometimes I had better luck using common kitchen ingredients as variables. “Ok, the number of widgets Sally makes is macaroni. The number of widgets Sam makes is 2X macaroni. How many meatloaves does Timmy have?” I had them begging for “train-leaving-station-in-city-A” story problems.
(In retrospect, it might explain why I never did very well at tutoring.)
When I got to college, most of the greeks weren’t variables, but constants. Like Pi. So I got confused for a while. It smoothed out when I got to Calculus. As they used to say, “The Greeks Don’t Want no Freaks.” Then I went to Chicago, to work inside a department store. I did, but I don’t anymore.
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb left its droppings.
(Apologies to Mother Goose purists.)
I are back. It would seem the folks at the Interwebs store are playing games again. This time, I was off for over two hours.
I don’t think they like me.
