Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedevs off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled Men in Black that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.
However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name. So Medvedev was referring to a Russian documentary film titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...
Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhowers alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earths resources in exchange for advanced technology...

I started looking for it this morning and got sidetracked on a nifty site for soft and chewy sugar cookies and a lot of other neat recipes. :(
Good grief! You’re just a kid!
I am not one of those who subscribes to the theory that growing old is "natural". Clearly, it is quite unnatural.
The progression of progeria seems natural also, but is obviously a tragic miscommunication in the genetic code.
One thing that concerns me is that brain functions seem to be age-dependent also. Perhaps the discoveries that will deal with general aging will take care of that as well. But I suspect we will have to augment our memory systems in some way.
A question I have wondered about, but have not yet found any information, is whether those with eidetic memories have a deterioration in that capability which is unrelated to general brain deterioration. In other words, in remembering everything, do they fill up quicker?
These matters require more study, if the human race is to accomplish its true destiny.
Good night and sweet dreams, y'all!
Uh-oh...
I don’t understand what you said, so I need to leave. perhaps my brain will rejuvenate overnight. Or not.
‘Night!
Evening everyone.
Speaking of which, were is Velveeta these days?
It is an entropy issue... If your study leads you to discover a means to reverse entropy, you will have the key to, among other things, perpetual motion, things that wind up instead of run down, lifespans of Biblical length...
But until then, the second law of thermodynamics is intact..
By some strange quirk of operation, the infinite improbability drive when activated simultaneously from locations on opposite sides of a reality continuum creates a sameness vector that causes unpaired things to pair...
Title of both threads... 'Oh the gun nuts are gona off now baser on what the PTUS'..
Precisely!
The reversal of entropy is a trivial matter in simple systems. Consider a cuckoo clock: In the short scale of time, the clock is winding down, losing its energy in a high to low flow of entropy.
Then you come along and raise the weights again, restoring its energy. It's now ready for another bout of ticking and talking. But then we have to change our scale of what it means to recharge its components into this longer time span. For long-lived biological organisms, this is what happens. Each function that has an entropic tendency to decline will have an energy pump to recharge it, and other systems that recharge the recharging systems.
Left to its own devices, Mother Nature develops intricate interweaving mechanisms of mutual and ever-more-everlasting systems. Stable environments tend to acquire organisms perfectly adapted to them.
We don't have time to wait for Mother Nature to do this for us. If we want to extend the life-span of species Homo, we will have to take matters into our own nano-technological hands.
But the first step in that is understanding the structures, rules, and devices available to us in our quest. A patient and pious gardener, Gregor Mendel, started us on a journey to infinity, and beyond, (as has been aptly stated).
Entropy is reversible 100% of the time in places like Hollywood, Industrial Light and Magic, comic books, Hitchhikers Guide, and Obama's head. For the rest of us in the real world, eventually no one lifts the weights and the clock stops ;-)
Morning, Joe.
That reminds me, I could use more coffee.
That looks more like hot chocolate.
