Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedevs off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled Men in Black that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.
However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name. So Medvedev was referring to a Russian documentary film titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...
Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhowers alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earths resources in exchange for advanced technology...

Thank you!
You’re welcome. One can’t always Interweb (or get on FR at all, sadly), but texting uses very few wavelengths, or something.
LOL
Silentgypsy, are you doing OK? *HUG*
My Grandama-dar is telling me TC is expecting again. Is that correct TC?
I saw you holding your hands over your lower tummy again. ;-)
Good night, all! God bless and keep you and those who love you. Sleep well, get plenty of rest, and have pleasant dreams.
Thank You, and may the same be yours.
Nope, that was just indigestion!
On Monday, one of the girls in Elen’s choir asked Elen if I was pregnant ... just on general principles, I guess, since it’s not statistically improbable based on our trend line. I told Elen to tell her friend I was slightly offended, because I’m really thin now, and I was wearing my Scout uniform, which is one of the smallest outfits I have. There’s some space and movement with some of my dresses, especially things I bought soon after Kathleen was born, but not in my Scout uniform!
I see what you did there.
‘Morning, TC. How are things with you and your brood?
Good morning. We’re all doing okay. The Venture Crew is going to a shooting sports weekend in the next Council over (’bout an hour’s drive), and the Cubs have Blue & Gold. All five of my giddy Tiger Cubs will get their badges.
I’m going to put together the display of Jamboree items to present when Pat bridges to Boy Scouts with the other Webelos next month. An interesting thing about the current Webelos patrol (”Ice Dragons”): Pat is not the weirdest one!
38 and a mizzly rain, annoying the catz, at this dark hour. Pat has a new ukulele case for his new concert ukulele, and Shannon has taken to napping in it. I’ll have to get her picture ... she fills the whole thing and oozes over the sides. Young Dr. Kaylor won’t be happy when he sees how fat she’s grown.
And how are you?
You are certainly welcome to keep the backpack and duffel for family use or to present it to your unit. I had intended only the flag for your unit.
Shooting sports! The one argument we aren't allowed to make during the gun control debate: shooting is fun. Target, trap, and skeet shooting are fun - and I've heard of a Venture Crew shooting at a 1500 meter target with a 50 caliber Barrett on a military base.
Is it just me, or does the ‘boy’ look 30 and the ‘dad’ look 65?
june cleaver
Their leader found them an Ice Dragon patch that’s very nice. James will be a Webelos next year: maybe he’d like to suggest a Frilled Lizard patrol ;-).
None of the Venture girls has been shooting before. They’re very excited. It’s supposed to be cold at night, but not rainy, this weekend. They leave from the church at 5:00 this afternoon, and at 7:30 p.m., iirc, they’ll start safety classes so they can shoot pistols tomorrow.
Well, since nobody else did, 2600.
