The stars and writers of Mystery Science Theater 3000 have carried our bad movie passion/fixation/incurable mental condition forward at RiffTrax.com. You spend enough time with bad movies, youre gonna wind up arguing over which ones are truly the worst. Rather than fight it out tooth-and-nail among ourselves, risking possible tooth injury or even nail damage, we put the question to our fans. A record-setting 500,000 votes later, weve got the list. RiffTrax's first annual Worst Movies of All Time list. This is it. No more fighting. Because nobody fights about lists on the internet, right? Right??

I have been doing all my movie watching on YouTube and other free net sources for years now. There are more movies on YouTube than I will ever watch, and news ones appearing all the time.
Lately I've become a big fan of BBC period dramas, and because I have a MA fetish I check out eastern cinema from time to time. And old movies in general...sometimes I think all the hottest leading ladies are dead...sigh.
The only movie I ever walked out on (at my Brother-in-law’s request) was the American dubbed version of FELLINI-SATYRICON back in 1970. It was BAD!
Saw it years later in Italian with English subtitles, it was much better. I had also read Petronius’ SATYRICON so knew a little more as to why the movie was so disjointed.
***This Island Earth MST version (netflix) is extremely funny.***
But they left out two reels of the movie in the version I saw! Much better w/o the MST comments.
***Perhaps the worst movie of all time is The Sound of Music***
You ever see SONG OF NORWAY? Beautiful color! Beautiful scenery! Songs! dancing! Made me and many others want to vomit! It was awful!
Ishtar
Glitter
It’s Pat, The Movie (didn’t see it but almost wretched back in the day when they were running ads for it on TV)
The Adventures of Pluto Nash
Xanadu
Twilight Saga movies
Judge Dread
my number 1 for worst movie though is:
Out of Africa
Haven’t been to a movie theater in years and don’t plan to go anytime soon. The junk coimg out of Hollywood is so bad they should pay me to go watch it.
Lost in Translation gets my vote for worst film ever.
I would go with “The Day After Tomorrow”
Say it aint so.....
It is a cult classic. Saw it when I was in college. A few beers before we went and a few smuggled into the theater and it was great.
Me too. But I'm the kind of guy less bothered by a battlecruiser sized submarine in the canals of Venice than I am by the fact that Tom Sawyer would have been 60 in 1900.
One is insanely cool, the other is just wrong.
Ooh...which one is that? Julie Newmar? Lee Meriwether? She doesn’t look quite like them though.
She was great as Stupifyin' Jones in LIL ABNER! And the only CAT WOMAN worth watching! She even stupified Itchey McScratchy (Jerry Lewis). Here she is as Stupifyin' Jones!
Actually, I think that was the whole point of making the movie. They started with those, and made a weak attempt to build a movie around them. It was a bust.
I love TIE either way — saw the MST version when it first came out. So glad it and other MST are on Netflix.
The redeeming features of HtD was Lea Thompson, who was utterly gorgeous, even if she did have sex with a duck. And Jeffrey Jones played a better than average scene chewing monster villain.
Far better than playing a good guy in Mom and Dad Save The World, with Jon Lovitz as the villain.
And don’t forget the Wham-o air blaster as a freeze ray! :)
The Undertaker and His Pals
The body double ...
I seldom patronize theaters, but I may start watching a movie on TV. If it is really bad, I change channels. But I seldom remember the name of the bad movie- why bother?
It's the movies that never made it into theaters that really stink. The straight to video stuff.
It's no fun to slam movies nobody's ever heard of, though, because nobody knows what you're talking about, but if you rent one of those movies by mistake you'll see the difference quickly enough.
On the positive side, the movie was fodder for one of the better epis of South Park.
