I think there was one wounded (child?) taken and survived. The number of dead isn’t hard to believe. The adults in a small entrance/office with no weapons, caught by surprise.

The second group probably huddled in a classroom - a teacher with 17 kindergartners in her class. He slaughtered them all. (: Probably not hard when they are little kids in the 50-60 pound range. God damn him.

The guy in camo in the woods - perhaps backup? Or perhaps a Dad with a gun that knows that area and came to help out. If it is the later - I hope that story just “goes away”.

When I heard that the guy’s mom was a teacher’s assistance, I wonder if the guy, in his deranged mind, was mad at his mom for spending so much time with the school kids and not paying attention to him - so he “got back” at mom and the little kids?

I don’t believe for a moment that this is some government conspiracy - just a nutcase kid. But you can bet Obama and his ilk will be calling for gun bans, etc. - heck, the little kid’s bodies were still cooling and you started to hear about stricter gun laws, etc.

I grieve for the parents and family and friends of these people.

The dude was wearing body armor.

This is NOT just a case of somebody “slighty autistic” going on a rampage.

There is more to it. We might never know for sure what, but there is more to it.

It doesn't have to be. If the government muddles the facts well enough and tweaks the emotions of enough people incapable of critical thought, the result can be the same. The Government conspiracy is the one to use horrible events like this to attempt to remove a fundamental Right. That's even a crime.

As a teacher I find our current procedures ridiculous. We're suppose to turn off the lights, lock the classroom door and huddled with the students on the floor. Any idiot is going to know that the students are in school by the backpacks, coats and lunchboxes on the shelves outside, during a normal school day.

I have been lobbying to have a weapon on campus, so it at least gives us a fighting chance to protect the students.

If nothing else get the students out the sliding windows in our room and off the school grounds as as quickly as possible.

“I don’t believe for a moment that this is some government conspiracy -”

Agreed, I think the “conspiracy” is to use every mass murder as leverage to disarm the innocent.

We need to be prepared for this at every turn.

Murders will always happen. The question is, will the innocent be able to defend themselves or just have to be sitting ducks like the poor kids in Connecticut on Friday.
