She represents Dallas.

How is it that a big cities in Texas elect liberal minority Democrats like her and Jackson-Lee? Aren't their enough Republicans in Dallas and Houston to elect someone else? Just how red is Texas?

Obviously, she comes from a gerrymandered district. No one with a 3 digit IQ would vote for this idiot.

Needless to say, she doesn’t represent all of Dallas... BUT Dallas is rather Blue by virtue of their demographics. Over 2000 babies born at Parkland.... a high percentage of them illegals... no surprise there !
She is elected in a safe Gerrymandered district to ensure a Minority wins... dumber than a post for sure... maybe not as dumb as Houston’s Sheila Jackson Lee but definately not the brightest bulb in Texas.
Fort Worth, on the other hand is RED... and is represented by Kay Granger the former mayor of Ft. Worth.. not a light-weight by any stretch so don’t judge the Lone Star state by our few mistakes !!

Not very any more. Sheila has been around for a long time but her district was always kept within 2-3 wards where only Black people lived. Houston has a lesbian mayor and Quanell X in addition to Sheila, Austin has a City Manager that got rid of vending machines in the Capitol and plastic bags in the grocery store, San Antonio is the new home of LaRaza. I don’t know about Dallas - don’t go up there.

Last time I checked there were more Democrats registered than Republicans. If even a sizeable number of Dems voted for their candidate at the last governor’s election, we would have had a Democrat governor instead of Rick Perry. And then we have Strauss and Dewhurst running the State Legislature and Cornyn as a RINO Senator.

Not lookin’ good.

She represents Dallas.

Not all of Dallas. My rep, Kenny Marchant, represents part of Dallas (24th district), and he's a straight-up conservative. EBJ represents the Obot section of Big D.
