Well, we used to bathe and wash our hair with 1 teakettle of hot water. It didn’t take long to heat it either. Granny put some cold water in the watering can and added the water from the teakettle.

Then she handed me a bar of soap, washrag and shampoo. First you dip the soap in water and soap up all over. Then you dunk the washrag and get your hair all wet. Then you soap up the hair.

Then Granny sprinkles you off or, hang the can on a hook and you sprinkle yourself off if you are tall enough. Then Granny hands you some vinegar water that you dump on your hair. Then the last bit of water rinses that off.

Then Granny hands you a towel. That ain’t dumbass - That’s just a country girl down on the farm.LOL. Comes in handy when the electric hot water heater is off due to power outage.

I've got long hair. ;)

And a kitchen built when #2 washtubs were in use.

I just have to make sure the blinds are closed. I don't want to scar any minds.
