Until July, Anderson Cooper had never publicly confirmed he was gay, but he'd never denied it, either. Cooper's sexual orientation has long been an open secret, but it took an Entertainment Weekly cover story about gay celebrities to prompt the newsman to finally come out. Daily Beast blogger Andrew Sullivan, another openly gay newsman, wrote to Cooper asking for his reaction to the story and published the response on his blog, The Dish. In the email, Cooper said, "The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn¿t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud."

I’ll admit, I deleted the episode and removed my series recording about the third time somebody said “her wife.” Looks like I made the right decision if they had gay kissing the following week.
Sounds like you are/were a fan of ‘Person Of Interest,’ also.
‘They’ just gotta include at least a nod to homosexuality these days in every avenue of entertainment.
Yes, I know there is overt homosexuality on film.
Hopefully it will run its course - without getting REally graphic - and burn out - on TV.
Movies will most likely always depict homosexuality.

You just know if they revive Star Trek for TV, there will be a gay crewman. Certain segments of the fan base are practically demanding it. Everyone was raving over a fan-made revival of the original series. Well, one of the first episodes had Kirk attending a gay wedding. It was dead to me at that point.

It was a fan-made series on the Internet that had no official ties to Star Trek, though Takei and Konig appeared (and maybe others). It was getting rave reviews, but the mention of a gay wedding kept me away. I wish we could just enjoy stuff like that or Person of Interest without an agenda!
Didn’t see enough of that show to know if they were vegetarian - realize you’re joking, but maybe they WERE veg. ! - - -
Let’s hope the producers have now shot their wad, and we can get back to ‘regular programming.’
BTW, ‘Person Of Interest’ is my 2nd fav.
