I meant University of Oregon.
I heard that stadium is pretty awesome. Shame the Cowboys play there.
The “other” USC?
USC - 5-12 bowl record, 1 Heisman
USC - 31-16 bowl record, 6 Heismans, 11 national championships
I get sooooo confused.
Every team they have played and will beat everyone else on their schedule.
No SEC team, this year, can handle the Oregon’s team speed and the pace at which they play. The only concern right now are injuries on the defensive line.
Looks like Bama will play Georgia for the national championship, er, uh for the SEC championship.
If ‘Bama wins out, wins the SEC Championship, and one of the top 3 lose, they might leapfrog into second.
I think UGA can beat them.
That's great news for the folks up north. It's been a long time since the USC Broncos have had a good season.
Varsity, fight for Santa Clara
Banners of Red and White on high...
Lost to Stanford 27-23
Ducks are still the best team in the country, the world.
If Oregon and KSU win out, there is no chance Alabama gets to to #2.
If either Oregon or KSU lose, I could easily see a one-loss SEC team getting in ahead of an undefeated Notre Dame. Notre Dame is vulnerable to teams with great speed on offense, and USC has plenty of it at the skill positions.
The computer likes Notre Dame a lot. I wouldn’t mind seeing UO vs KSU. I do not like Nick Saban at all.
I think UGA could beat Bama as well. But maybe we will be better rested by then if we make it past Aubarn. LOL
GO GAMECOCKS!!
Dallas/Fort Worth
Depends if # 9 in South Carolina or Southern Cal. I’m not looking it up.
UGA wins out, beats Bama in the SEC championship game. ND loses to USC. K-State loses to Texas. UGA beats Oregon for the national title......I think.
I’m not to worried about Auburn, but I wasn’t too worried about A&M throwing down the shocker either (although we had 2 an 1/2 chances to win at the end and blew it). If we give up 3 turnovers to Auburn, they may well beat us.
If Notre Dame goes undefeated, they will be in the championship game. I am not a Notre Dame fan, but the fact is that Notre Dame has a much broader and larger fan base than any other school. Why do you think NBC renewed their contract with Notre Dame during the bad years? Television will dictate that Notre Dame will be in the championship game and the SEC winner will play the team left out. This is all predicated on KSU and Oregon also going undefeated. Hopefully I am wrong.
