Dear FreeRepublic, I know this has been a difficult week. Most of us expected tuesday to go a little differently, and are left feeling robbed and shocked. Weds morning was interesting, I saw sorrow, despair, confusion and fear, and prayers. I am not saying those feelings were unfounded or wrong, I too feel a twinge of fear in my heart. What I am about to say, may momentarily offend some of you, I beg you let me finish my thoughts before your judgement. Firstly, may I suggest that Barry's re-election, may be EXACTLY what our country needs right now. A great awakening has begun in the last four years, and with obamas help and leadership, perhaps America will be forced to accept what the face of communism looks like. During the last year, I have watched my countrymen go from "certainly not romney" during the primaries, to Romney is the guy who is going to save us if we can just get him in there." In my opinion, this transition did not happen because Romney grew on us, it was because many realized that if it were not Romney, it would be us, it would be you. Too long have my countrymen put blind faith and votes into campaign promises and outright lies. Too long have we awaited the politician who would ride onto the scene on the proverbial white steed and solve our growing list of problems. Too long have we accepted the mundane life of our fathers america instead of striving for the America of our forefathers. Both parties have failed us, if not spent the last century activley trying to enslave us. (to my "republican" friends, let me just say "Patriot Act") Freedom is going to cost us more than donating $20 dollars to a Chimp-in-a-suit's campaign, (regardless, of race or party) or voting for aformentioned chimp in an election. Both parties have failed us, and we continue to play their game, by their rules, while they disregard us, and their rules. Their system has failed us and responibility rests squarely on our shoulders now. The ballot box was crushed by corruption, the soap box has been censored by controlled media, one left. I am not suggesting riots, murders, assassinations, ect. I am proposing to prepare, to begin organizing. History has shown us repetedly what is comming next, prepare spiritually, prepare physically, most important prepare mentally. Mentally prepare to meet violence, with violence. Because whats next is violence, with or without your preparations, or participation. Have faith in God, but not exclusively. The founders had faith in God, but they did not sit on their hands and wait for God to deliver them from evil. They used their God given rights, they defended them, they fought for them. Will you? I suggest everyone read Patrick Henry's liberty or death speech again, see what is at stake by sitting idly by in an illusion of hope and peace. Take comfort in knowing that Americans have been at this place before, and there are still Americans here now. All I want from you, isa for you to display the same confidence in yourself, as I have in you. It is the same confidence the founders had in us. God bless you, good luck, see you on the other side. Yesterday, it was not received well by some, though few responded at all, that I recommended Howard Roark over Hank Readen, just for now. Maybe it sounded like I was pontificating.
What's just happened, which is a reflection of others and not ourselves, need not penetrate to the core of us, or cause any self doubt. If anything defines liberty in the history of man in relation to government, it's that liberty is usually the enemy.
FYI ... all you need to do to create paragraphs is start each paragraph with the <p> tag. You don't need to do that if you use zero HTML, but once you use any html ... you have to specify HTML throughout, the primary consequence of not doing so is that your entire post runs together.
i know not what path other men may choose, but as for me, i will not be a sheeple begging for their help. and i know that there are many more like me.

In my opinion, the election was stolen by voter fraud. Until the voter fraud that was just perpetrated is exposed and prosecuted, we’re screwed.
OK. Tell me what you know about socialism or communism. If everyone is going to be afraid of it and think the Democrats are going to impose it on us, then I need to know what Republicans think socialism or communism looks like and how it comes about. I had to read Karl Marx’s baloney. I’ve been around real socialists and communists. They don’t look or act like the Democrats. The Democrat leadership is just a bunch of grifters.

Agree completely. The problem in this country is it’s moral decay. God judges nations and we shall be judged. People lost sight of the fact that the little things you do every single day, matter on a grand scale. Helping your neighbor, volunteering at the local mission, taking your kids to church. It matters for society. We lost that. Now we must prepare spirtually for the fallout.
when i look at our situation, i see a pendulum, at the top of one side of the swing is the repubs, and on the dems. every four or eight years sheeple decide they have had enough of one party or the other, nothing gets reversed, and when the next batch get in, they just continue the agenda. repubs spend money on police states and the military’s illegal practices. (not the troops or legit spending. they didnt have body armor under bush either, rember?) and when the sheeple get tired of that, they elect the guys who while dismantling the legit aspects of military and police, they leave the illegitimate parts, and spend all that “saved” money on welfare programs and destroying our infastructue. clinton, nafta gap, bush, patriot act and tsa, homeland sec. obama, tarp, immagration, ect, and nobody undid the illegitimate crap of the admin before them.
I’m with you — and I don’t believe things have to get worse before they get better. Al Gore and a lot of radicals believe in breaking things down to rebuild them.
One look at Europe’s history shows that overcoming addiction to welfare is next to impossible. Maybe it is mankind’s natural condition, as the Leftie elites believe.

In my view, reelection of Obama was no more than absolute proof that we have actually LOST our republic and America. We did not lose the country on Tuesday, it was already gone. All we got was confirmation that it was gone and thus the signal to start thinking about a different direction for those of us who want to live free.
I think that’s why he was shedding tears Tuesday night. He was “crying for happy” as the Jo-sans used to say in Japan.
And why would he cry for happy, you might ask? Because HE NEVER DREAMED that it would be this EASY!

Add in buying votes with gifts, welfare, illegal entry into this country, bought votes, intimidation, and you have hit exactly what I've been saying all week. We cannot win an election, with the current state of entitlement which is rampant in this country, no matter WHO the candidate is. People want to lay 'blame' on Romney and everyone else, but this is not a fault of conservatives. This election was bought, stolen, and promised by the democrats.
