My heart is with you FRiend.

My youngest daughter came home, in tears, on that terrible day of 911. The stories she told me, said time was growing short. I cried with her. Removed her from the school and home schooled her. We cry today, together, those of us who are alive. Something my youngest told me on 911 made me think not only was time short; it was as if the demons were loosed, and God had not turned his back, yet instead God was giving some of us a telling of what was to come. It makes me tear up too, for the price to be paid will be each of us on razor's edge headed toward a pool of alcohol. Said I wouldn't make another prediction, after my terrible prediction of a R&R landslide, and I was wrong about a stated landslide, terribly wrong. May I be wrong again, FRiend. America needs us more than ever now!

Brother, it sounds to me like your middle school experience is one of the best things that has ever happened to you. In a situation where you faced bad odds, and an idea of what was to come, you still hit back. you defended an idea, when it mattered. i know America is scared and worried today, but perhaps this is the best thing to happen to us. At least Americans will not be eased back to sleep. No one man is going to save this country, and now, the few Americans (like yourself) who know what the problems are, know what the odds are, know what failure would mean, are waking up today, forced to realize the the responibility is going to be ours. The hopes of a politician riding in on a white steed and saving us are dashed. Get ready, its up to us now.

You are to be commended on an eloquent, sobering and very daunting post. We feel the same. America as we’ve known it is over and it is heartbreaking to witness.

The only comfort we have now is knowing that God is in ultimate control. I was praying that our country would have many more years before being faced with the prophesies of the biblical end. We still may have many more years before the ‘end’, but they will be very difficult.

The only comfort I have now is knowing that in the end, good will triumph over evil. Our Lord has promised such.

Although this election result is personally depressing, I have a different take on it. I believe that this is a clear massage from God that we need to place our reliance upon Him and have Faith that His will for each of us is all that matters.

It's not a pleasant lesson, but perhaps it is a lesson we all need to take to heart. Remember exactly Who is in charge . . . not our will, but His.

May God bless us all and make His light to shine down upon us. Be of good cheer (if you can manage it :) )

I'm there too. I'm 46. I feel scared, I feel like the "4" have dropped out of my age. My mother is 74, still I feel like running to her and she telling me things will be OK. Trouble is, they will not. I'm shivering as I type this.

If I may have a moment of lucidity, I know their agenda will fail. Some say God will deal with it. I don't doubt the powers of the Almighty, but I have to deal with wait is tangible and what we can see, hear, touch and feel. Their agenda will fail. A lot of people will get hurt or worse. Many of us might not make it. I hope most of us will. Let's put it this way, you have too many various cultures, ideologies and so on in the world.

When I was a kid in the 1970's, I remember the old Coco-Cola commercial where you had a multi-cultural chorus singing, "teach the world to sing in perfect harmony." It will never work and this will cause the New World Order and their agenda to fail. Too many groups and cultures rub against each other and you get heat and friction. That's why our Constitution was very well thought out, you are supposed to have a confederation of States of all flavors get together and work together while each retain their sovereignty, individuality and way of life.

Well, I guess we all have to "Man up" and try to survive as best as we can. We need to find kindred spirits and stick together. I know there are some differences even in our camp, I'm more of a libertarian (although personally, I'm pretty conservative socially, I just think government should stay out of it for the most part), there are some who are social conservatives, but we need to quit sniping at each other and unite, even if we don't agree on 20% of things. Ronald Reagan said, the one that agrees with you 80% is your friend.

America is dead right now, but we need to rebuild her like a Phoenix.

This nation was kicked in the groin four years ago. I was sure that after the nation views four years of the disasters that were to fall on the nation from that massive voting error, the example would keep it from ever happening again. I was wrong. The “mainstream” American voter is now obviously a combination of parasites who have learned that government will provide for their every basic need (”OBAMAPHONE”), socialists who have aimed at the demise of America's liberties for decades, and a severely dumbed down electorate and culture.

How ironic that the “youth” who zombi-waddle into the polls to vote for this tyranny are dooming themselves to hopeless future.

My son voted in his first presidential election last night. He is 20.

This morning, he said, I guess that was a waste of time... I told him no it was not. You voted what you believed and you can continue to influence others.

I had to leave it at that because I am so demoralized myself right now.

However, I will pick myself up and fight on.

As my husband said this morning...Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. It makes me think back to Bush vs. Gore.
