Anybody else have the feeling we've been "played?-and other thoughts musings (Vanity) Very long one.

Why do I have a vague sense that I've been "played" once again?- As was the case in 2008-when McCain "didn't quite" make it to the winners circle.

Romney was much better than McCain at campaigning-but to be honest- the whole time- it just always felt like "something was missing" from their (Romney/Ryan) efortts- Like they were holding back for some reason.

Add to this the bizzare coverage of Fox news (calling state after state for O before even 1% of the vote was recorded exc..), and it looked like "the fix was in".

The question is: Why?
Maybe to collapse our dollar so Soros and Co. can make another 18 billion? Who knows.

All I know is that I'm done with the republican party. If conservatives are smart-they will be done with it too. No conservative will ever be "allowed" to run in an election.

I think we are past the point where elections matter now -we never do anything about corruption at the polls anyway.

The USA has been betrayed by greedy, selfish , power-mad people at the highest levels of our government, and by a lazy, shallow, ignorant, populace out to take everything it can get for itself-no matter what the consequences are. ( I don't think we can turn this around. God Help us.

And while I think great darkness is coming, it doesn't change who we are- for those of us who remember who we are.

We are Americans.

The Constitution is still the most inspired document for government ever written.

It is the answer.

The marxists and socialists will continue to try and destroy it .

It's up to us to pass it on to as many people as will listen, and maybe some day our Republic will be restored, by the grace of God.

The numbers don’t make sense....I’d say that a lot of Repub votes went the way of the dumpster.

There are estimates that 40,000 military voters were unable to vote due to deliberate failure to provide them with absentee ballots in time. Failure attributable directly to the Obama Administration.

Polling numbers are dependent on the number of votes counted; not on the number of people who came to vote.
How many ballots were “tossed” some how?
Was there anyone actually counting the number of people who came to vote to compare with the number of votes counted? No.

We lost. We need to evaluate why we lost.

You say “But most Americans are NOT liberal, they are center of right”.

You and I wish, but election results says that is not true.

Conservatives are outnumbered. We will never win an election if we continue playing within the system.

You say: “If you can’t win with your true beliefs, hide your beliefs and win as a phony”

I agree, but to do that means we will never win. We are outnumbered. We follow the laws and continue to let then take our hard earned money to further their agenda. The libs are great at hiding their beliefs, winning, and then going back to who they really are. You can stand for principle but it does you no good if it guarantees defeat.

We must look at the situation and make changes, or get use to doing what they want. Simple as that.

the time to make a difference was before we played it safe and went with romney in thee first place. we lost when we gave him the votes needed to win the nomination, and i said so back then, much to the chagrin to those who told me that i would vote for whomever the party trotted in front of me.

I think you’re right! I’m half hispanic and I can tell you that I have relatives in my mom’s family that CANNOT think for themselves and it’s sad. Between them and the black population who vote color (even if his/her name was Satan) and the ‘depression’ disabled potato chip eating, Coke drinking, Honey Boo Boo watching, waiting by the mailbox for my disability check white person; we seem to be HIGHLY outnumbered. Who wants to stand on their own two feet and work for something better, when they can get free Obama phones, have Medicaid pay for gastric bypass, welfare pay for baby showers, and food stamps pay for whatever they’re craving that day? My grandparents came here for a better life and my grandfather worked hard until he was in his 70’s. I’m thankful they aren’t alive to see this.

Absolutely...that kept going through my head over and over last night...a completely sleepless night...how could people whose JOB it is to come close to an accurate prediction get it so hideously wrong?
Just stunning....

The battleground polls indicate otherwise, that the vast majority of Americans identify themselves as NOT liberal on both social/cultural and economic issues.

Our political leaders deny that truth and try to pass the lie.

We are being overrun by a loud, vocal, powerful, rich minority.

We need to stand our ground.

Becoming one of them is not victory. It is defeat.

The Battleground Poll indicates that the vast majority of Americans do NOT identify themselves as liberal on the social/cultural and economic issues.

As I posted earlier, we are being overrun by a very loud, vocal, powerful, and rich minority. But they are the minority nonetheless.

The GOP establishment is a part of the problem. They are working with that minority to destroy true conservative candidates.

The voting results are NOT an accurate reflection of the true core beliefs of Americans. They reflect the selection of those that have been offered to us...what is left of the candidate pool after both the Left and their accomplices in the GOP establishment destroy the true conservatives.
