Election Day 2012: President Obama is the new Ronald Reagan The President, who already broke a huge symbolic barrier four years ago, has the opportunity to turn a corner and write his way into the history books.

Reagan gave ammesty to illegals in 1986 and did nothing about massive non-white immigration to America. Anyone with any sense would have realized what the eventual consequences would be.
Democrats wrote a law to replace the American voter.
From unionizing government, to Vietnam, to the 1965 Immigration Act, JFK was the end of us.
However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Bostons WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s. In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedys blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin. After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFKs legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies. Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.
The republicans nominated the anti-Reagan, Mitt Romney, who actually left the party because of Reagan.
The United States of Ronald Reagan is gone, now lost forever.
Four more years of Obama’s abysmal rule will render the nation unrecognizable, even when just compared with what it is today.
The Democrats have, in effect, purchased the government with tax money given to prospective voter blocks in exchange for votes from Americans with their hands out.
It’s ironic that JFK, a Democrat, famously said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”
The only thing that anyone asks of himself and what he can do for his country anymore is hold out his hand for a big, fat government check rendered in exchange for his vote and paid for with funds furnished by hardworking people.
We are now well on the way to creating of this nation a Third-World, Africa-style, Marxist sh*t hole.
Am I the only one giving way to black despair and rock bottom depression right now?
Even Reagan wouldn’t win California in 2012. Ask yourself why that is.
No you are not. I was posting about Reagan’s first victory earlier. It was the first presidential election I voted in, and I voted opposite my parents, and I was delighted in the outcome.
That was a long time ago. I don’t know if you believe in God, but if you do, know that He is in charge. My prayer group has prayed for a year for the outcome of this election, specifically and powerfully.
Not all prayers are answered the way we would like.
I've seen these freeloaders and their lifestyle doesn't seem too bad except they are not worn out from physical labor and stress like I am.
Really, maybe I should get on the gravy train too.
Rent me a shack down south, cash my check, grab a bottle and go fishin', doesn't sound like a bad way to spend my next 20 years or so.
It is a sad night for the country but unfortunately there are tens of millions of braindeads who bought into Hope and Change and still believe in it. I saw ABC’s election coverage and they showed a bunch of young Obama supporters, mostly college kids, cheering their heads off. I saw that and thought don’t these dolts know that they’re the ones who will be paying off this massive debt we’ve accumulated? Unfortunately, we’re no longer a country of strivers and achievers. We’ve turned into a country of freeloaders and moochers. The rest of the world is licking its chops and ready to feast on the carcass of the once proud and strong United States.
In California it is because of Catholic immigration, but Reagan would have beat Barack Jimmy Carter, this election anyway, perhaps even taking California, we don’t know.
Reagan was a winner, Romney is a loser.
As a career politician, the liberal Mitt Romney has been running for office for 20 years and has won once, with less than 50%, and left that office with 34% approval, unable to run for reelection (although wanting to), spending 50 to 60 million dollars of his own money on all this anti-conservatism.
Reagan would not win California in 2012. How many Republicans hold office state wide in California? Is there even one?
Well America, the Kool Aid has been drunk. In the next four years you will see the decline of the greatest nation on earth, and watch it slide into a new third world order. Those that voted for it will come to realize they made a mistake that cannot be reversed.
It will never again be repeated...hollywood/academia has seen to that.
Then again, on immigration/spending issues he(Reagan) was not the saint many have made him out to be...more than likely because he had to deal with increasingly more progressive democratic congress critters in order to gain bargaining positions.
I’m turning in my grave and it hasn’t even been dug yet...Has it?
Maybe we should ALL move to California.
It’s a nice place and we’d have total control :-)
10 million new voters would do it up nicely.
I like Rush and all but if he comes on tomorrow spouting the same-o same-o of regroup to fight another day I will turn him off. It’s time for something more creative.
I saw ABCs election coverage and they showed a bunch of young Obama supporters, mostly college kids, cheering their heads off.
Twenty-five years ago my son was one of those cheering libeal college students. That is until he received his masters degree and got his first paycheck. Today he is a one percenter conservative.
Those college students will have second thoughts when they graduate, and have to move back home.
Yeah ten million might actually be enough lol.
Me too; but I don’t need a grave to do it.
“Rent me a shack down south, cash my check, grab a bottle and go fishin’, doesn’t sound like a bad way to spend my next 20 years or so.”
Move over, I’m coming with you.
