We can point fingers all we want, however, the Republicans once again ran another moderate Republican. Plus, the takers in this country took over. I wonder how Sarah Palin would have done against zero?

How can any candidate overcome a 47 percent and growing taker society?

Do you seriously think that any GOP candidate has much against the media propaganda machine? I used to think that this was true, but frankly, our nation runs on the media to a great extent. It’s amazing how many lies or distortions you would get just for trying to disagree with Obama. Frankly, how would you like to face the media with your mind? or your thoughts? Many of us like to blame the candidates, but none of us really could do much better. We live in a time where the media is a rival world religion, pretty much. One-party rule comes around, and well, there’s still light at the end of the tunnel.

I have not seen the numbers but I believe the Christians stayed home. I thought the ObamaCare mandates would have brought them out in droves, it didn't.
And yes maybe the takers have finally reached the tipping point.
The abortion issue was used effectively against us even if we never brought it up.
I think the electorate is telling us that they don't care if we go bankrupt and debase the constitution, just as long as they can have the government benefits without any responsibility.
Social conservatives like Akin and Mourdock were shown the door immediately. I don't think a more conservative ticket would have made a difference.

“I wonder how Sarah Palin would have done against zero?”

Would probably have won!

Moderates will in most instances vote for the democrat if the Republican is a moderate.

Moderates are useless garbage!

The talking heads are saying the republican party is going to have to start running more moderate candidates to win. I kid you not.

It really doesn’t matter if it were Romney, Palin or Reagan.

This country has degenerated into a society of takers. They are already lining up to get their Obama phones, Obamacare, Obama housing, Obama food, and whatever else they feel they are entitled to. All “free” of course.

When the celebration is over, say around January 21,2013, the bill will come due.

When Fiat announces they are pulling not only Jeep production but also Chrysler production out of the US. Closes plants in the midwest and imports Chryslers from Italy.

“To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat.” Bloomberg Oct.29,2012.

When GM continues to lose market share and needs another bail-out while building new plants in China and moving their production facilities overseas.

“Joel Ewanick (GM Marketing Officer) announced on thursday, that General Motors will begin to build 3 new Models of the Cadillac Brand in China. GM sold more than 3 Million Vehicles in China last Year and is now planning to move the production of the Cadillac CTS, the all new ATS and Cadillac’s new luxury sedan, the XTS, to China.” CNN April 14, 2012

When the unemployment rate reaches 18% and college is no longer affordable for most Americans.

When all the lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan are for naught because AlQuida and the Muslim Brotherhood are firmly in power.

When Iran tests it’s first nuclear device and puts Israel firmly in it’s crosshairs.

We will look back on this night and shake our collective heads on what might have been.
