Vanity: Candy Crowley and Chris Christie probably cost Romney the election.

Candy Crowley ruined the second debate with her interference, CBS withheld damning video of Obama on 9/12 denying the Benghazi attack was terrorism. Romney was thrown off his game by the MSM covering for Obama.

After Sandy, Chris Christie injected himself into the campaign by shamelessly giving Obama wet sloppy kisses when he toured the Jersey shore after Sandy. I think this may have hurt Romney more than we all know, because the MSM ran three straight days of Christie/Obama giving each other wet sloppy kisses.

“Christie was paving the way for a 2016 run,”

I can’t imagina any Republican voting for that liberal piece of crap!

I just worry about my child not yet born, or about my nieces and nephews and their continuing search for employment. Even if Obama is elected, I am going to seriously be writing Congress and him some honest feelings regarding dropping some policies, because the deficit is a real problem that they don’t seem to care about.

You got it pretty well summarized. Romney allowed the Main Sewer Media got away with lies and propaganda. The race should have been against Obamugabe as well as against the MSM, even if Romney’s proxies had to run it.

You are 100% correct. No one person, debate, storm, tear, or anything other than pure numbers affected this and all future elections. 47% no income tax, 40% unwed births, Hispanic population growth..... All of these numbers have tipped the scales in favor of re-electing a complete failure.
The only thing that will change the country back is events that tear the nation down to it’s foundation. However, the cure may simple kill the country complete.

They can raise the debt ceiling all they want. It won’t change the fact. If anything it will speed up the collapse There is no money left to borrow. The producers are tapped out. Add to this the added cost of neccesities. It’s not going to be pretty and it won’t take long.

I know how you feel, I have 4 boys and I am worried about their future.

I don’t think writing Congress will do anything.

It was a lose-lose situation on Benghazi. If he continued blasting away on Benghazi, the media would take it as him simply being obssessed and hateful about Obama instead of wanting to be president. Second, if he moved on, the media would pound any number of lies they wished on the whole ordeal. The other issue, which I take to people thinking other candidates could have done better, is the fact that frankly, they all had their own lousy performances in debate and along the campaign trail.

Finally a reply that I agree with. Economic hardship is nothing compared with our loss of liberty. It’s an abstract concept, whereas the economy is a very personal one, but he should have at least tried. That was the real danger but the GOP tried to popularize the message and not sound too radical or extreme.

Maybe Romney would have lost even bigger, but that was the right message.

I don’t think so either, but if it doesn’t I am honestly prepared for the opposite. It’s sad to see our country so great heading on the path that it is, but at the same time, the light won’t ever be quenched.

"Maybe Romney would have lost even bigger, but that was the right message."

Yep, too much finessing of the electorate.

As others have stated, the demographics/psychology of the electorate is/was just a bit beyond the grasp of being "moderate".

At least Romney didn’t come out and tell us that we have nothing to fear from zero like McCain did. He seemed happy, but like us - disappointed. I just believe this election was stolen.

" I just believe this election was stolen."

Nah, I'm not sure it was winnable now that's it's over.

If Romney beat 0bama up more (as he intellectually should have), he might have scared off more voters than he would have gained. The country has just gone over the edge. It would take decades of education to turn this around for any given election.

This Christian didn’t, neither did a huge percentage of those who attend. Either they were manning the polls or in the lines, waiting for hours with me.

BTW, this was in liberal NYC.

the re-education camps of the MSM and liberal schools have done their job. I think we are past the point of no return at this point. Everything was against Obama and he still won. Heck, the Obama’s America:2016 movie by Dinesh D’Sousa was the 2nd most watched documentary and that fell on deaf ears apparently along with the trail of destruction Obama has already left behind in the last 4 years. I pray for America and our people.

We are being “warned” that we must force the Catholic Church to furnish insurance for birth control for Sandra Fluck and abortions for all, any time; and also, we’re told we can’t enforce our borders since it will make the illegals not like us . . and it’s “bread and circuses” if Republicans want to ever win another national election. - Maybe hunkering down in our conservative state here, quitting patronizing Mexican restaurants, and just living locally is an answer, for now at least. - I can’t stand watching Obama on tv or listening to him; but there’s always the remote if I can reach it in time. - Obama the Divider and the Quizzling is another name for him.

I believe they’re correct. A US conservative will be like a British “conservative”; just a degree or two to the right of left wingers.
