OK...so Obama has won reelection. It will be bad, of that there is NO doubt. However, good can come from this.
Let it go. Palin will never be President.
We just became a taker society. Greece is coming to America sooner than
Later.
Exactly! And get ready to see the “reparations” deduction on your paystub (if you still have employment, that is)
As a non-believer myself, it amazes me to see so many Freepers who believe that God is in control being far more despondent tonight than am I.
I think they may be despondent compared to you for the same reason a man is despondent after losing his job and his very young kids don’t understand the gravity of the situation.
Two weeks before the election of 2008 I bought a small farm in central Kentucky. In August of last year I moved here from my home of 45 years, Seattle. I’ve seen what the last four years brought, but they were nothing compared to what will come. The country and world are teetering on the edge now, and there is no solution in sight. It would not have been much better if Romney had won. In fact, maybe we needed Obama to stay in office long enough to remove all doubt about who he is.
When I moved to KY I did it in the spirit of Revelation 18:4. I am not despondent. Rather, I am a student of biblical prophesy. The Lord will prevail and His promise of eternity is real, but His word clearly teaches that it will get worse before it gets better.
In fact, it will be the worst time in the history of mankind, and there have been some pretty bad times. Most people wish to avoid that kind of pain. But only those who see it coming concern themselves about it.
Bingo. My feeling is the country crossed a line today that cannot be crossed back the other way. It is going to get worse. Much worse. And Obama will not be blamed. The Dems will not be blamed. The moochers will not be blamed. The producers will be blamed, especially since we are the minority now and our numbers are shrinking.
Obamacare is now going to be implemented, and Obama will try to blame the resulting skyrocketing costs and Big Brother intrusions on Republicans. Hopefully we can channel some of the resulting anger to keep the House in 2014 and gain some Senate seats. It looks like we will be down to 43 seats after tonight.
There is no hope. And the reason there is no hope is because the electorate has been dumbed down so much that we have passed the point of no return. Another 4 years of the past 4 years and 2-3 supreme court justices leaving will mean the end of the american we have grown up with. There is no way around that. The losers on Facebook cheering for this piece of shit getting elected have me so completely disgusted I don’t know what to do.
I fear the beginning of a very uncivil war between the takers and the rest who actually work.
How any republicans plan on winning any presidential election?
I see a lot of states turning more and more blue
what blue states are turning red? NONE
It’s only going to get worse as the years go on. they have total control of the media.
The problem is that Obama will get to make 3-5 USSC appointments, Look at the older justices: Kennedy, Scalia, Ginsberg & Breyer.
If he gets those appointments the country is screwed.
Too soon. Especially in breaking news.
Exactly SV, these are the reasons I didn’t bother voting.
Romney was beyond my threshold line that he was not worth voting for.
Plus, we warned them all that Romney was a horrible choice that would split the party and not get conservative voters excited, but apparently the GOP-E thought they could win without us.
oops.
Maybe they’ll believe us in 2016
A Conservative Christian would have lost. God is telling America that we need to repent and turn from our sins. The majority of Americans have become selfish, covetous, self-centered, indulgent, lazy and godless. They look to Government as the supreme provider for their wants and needs and they spit at God while they abort their children and vote in the most vile human beings to rule over them.
God has given America the leader they wanted. Now America has to live with their choice.
Ninevah repented when faced with God's judgment. Will America repent or be destroyed?
I say we need to stock up on sackcloth and ashes. If that doesn't work, then we need to stock up on guns and ammo.
Those who have purchased gold and silver are probably doing a jig right now as the dollar is soon to become less than worthless.
I think the GOP response is going to be similar to the Democrats after 2004. They were demoralized when Kerry lost, and to fight the Demographic wave, Marco Rubio goes to the front of the line.
Whether he is the GOP “Obama’? Who knows.
Romney did an amazing job to generate this turnout, but the trend is what it is.
Obama can’t run again, so if you get Rubio vs a white man or woman...that will throw a wrench into the works. I’m not saying that is right or wrong, or even what would happen, but that is the way I see it tracking.
I agree with you 100%. This is not the free-thinking America of the 1950's, and in four years it will be even less so.
I just don’t care any longer.
I pray for two things now.
Dear Lord, whatever is coming, let it come quickly, and please make my aim true.
Great post! I was so hoping for a better result tonight, but it was not in my control to get what I wanted. I kind of sensed this when people started saying we had a chance in PA. Just didn’t see some of these states coming through for us.
One thing’s for certain, the sh-t is about to hit the fan fullblast and it might not be so bad to have Democrats in charge when it does. People will get what they voted for. Be smart and put your faith in God, we win in the end. Don’t ever lose sight of it.
I am looking at the positive side.....future to 2016.
Obama will certainly mess up the country more in 4 years. If we nominate good candidates, and we have a whole bunch, starting with Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal etc who have genuine conservative records and are good politicians, the future looks bright. We will see a republican president in 2016.
Senate candidates such as Akin & Mourdock should be avoided because they are lousy politicians. Losing candidates do not further any conservative agenda. I am sorry to say the field of 2012 presidential candidates were not top notch.
We may really, truly, run out of other people's money by then.
It remains to be seen what will then happen.
