I suppose that would be a lot more comforting were I a Christian.
Null and Void, take heart my beloved friend. By the grace of God, you are still alive. God has not changed, His free offer of the gift of eternal life and salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is still available to you.
The hope, comfort and forgiveness of all of your sin and redemption from the awful penalty of your sin in hell is readily available to you now. God offers this to you freely, without cost, without works, on the basis of placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on Calvary's cross and in His resurrection from the dead, all of this accomplished once and for all on your behalf.
All you have to do to receive this free gift is to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, believe on Him and receive/accept Him into your heart to be your personal savior for He has made this promise to you and He can not lie and He always keeps His word:
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved,"...(Acts 16:31)
"for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
