The CIA story is a head-fake, misdirection to by the White House time to get past the election. Don't go for the sleight of hand.

The issue is the MILITARY QRF waiting for the "launch order" at Sigonella, the same distance from Benghazi as Tripoli.

By the time the pathetic little ad-hoc CIA "rescue team" found its way to the Benghazi annex, they should have been met by 100+ Force Recon Marines, who had already been sent from Sigonella. With USN and USAF jets controlling the sky all the way to space, ready to spit death down at anybody holding a weapon near our property.

I wish I could say unbelievable, but it’s not. Why is the press so invested in this failure of a President? It boggles my mind. Our slain American heroes deserve better than this. We need someone to step forward and blow this story wide open. To tell the truth. Then again, I wonder if anyone knows what that word means anymore.

You are right... the story is pathetic from start to finish. It was known from the beginning that this was a coordinated and organized attack not a mob action. It is also known that CIA leadership told the persons who responded to the consulate to “stand down” at least twice before the men disobeyed orders. This could only have come directly from the Obama administration.

I read this article earlier. I was over at the DUmpster earlier to do my daily opposition research an they are fanatical about the fact that this story proves that “Obama knew what he was doing all along”. How in the hell does one arrive at that conclusion based on this story? They easily arrived at the justification of allowing our ambassador to be paraded, dead, through the streets as a trophy by savage islamic extremists. How does the alleged CIA involvement change any of the facts thus far? It doesn’t - period. The CIA (Cheney’s killing machine) were reviled under the past administration, and now they are revered by the libtards today.

It only took them about 53 days to come up with this narrative.

They’ve been working on and revising the narrative for nearly 2 months now.

This one just ignores the several ‘stand down’ orders to Woods, Doherty and 2 other CIA contractors. It ignores that those four, per earlier reports, disobeyed orders and went to the fighting.

This version ignores the movie that the Obama Administration claimed as the culprit for several weeks.

Two CIA contractors, both former Navy SEALs, were killed: Tyrone Woods, a security officer based in Benghazi, and Glen Doherty, who was part of the team rushed by air from Tripoli.

That is news.

Per previous reports, Doherty was a part of the same group as Woods, and they were in Benghazi investigating some 20,000 missing surface-to-air missiles.

This is the first I have seen that Doherty came with a team from Tripoli.
