Per Twitter: Romney moving 60 staffers to PA
Twitter | 10/20/2012 | LS

According to twitter, Romney team moving 60 more people to PA. But here are the other two interesting Twitter posts: Obama starting to release internal #s on PA---desperation firewall move? Then this: someone (apparently doing "down ticket" polling in OH reported and I quote "VERY good numbers for Romney in OH." I would guess that the only statewide (as opposed to regional) polling would be for Mandell, but that wasn't clear.

At any rate, put these tidbits together and it sounds like both Romney and Obama know the real story about OH and that the battle is shifting to PA. Just my take.

From what I understand you can vote without ID but on a provisional ballot.

I'm not clear what that means. They're making their internal numbers public? To what purpose?

Always make your enemy fight on as many fronts as possible. It forces him to spread his resources thin.

That's what I meant by "distract".I should have been more articulate.

Very good! A teaching moment without the condescension.

Do we know where they’re moving the 60 from? I would think FL, possibly VA.

Ok, found this: the guy who sent the tweet is a private pollster who was the director of Rick Santorum’s campaign.

I would think when times are bad enough real votes could outrun the cheating. And, if the professional cheaters are made aware it’s all a lost cause, you could see quite the disaster for the cheating side. I’m hoping.

LS, I believe that Mitt Romney made tremendous strides in Pennsylvania in last Tuesday’s debate. He was very clear and believable in his defense of coal, oil, natural gas, and the Keystone pipeline. He was very smart and calculated in how he addressed the energy question in the debate and exposed Obama in a very blunt manner with respect to the core of so much of PA’s economy. This Susquehanna poll from yesterday is believable based on Romney’s performance.

These are very tough times for Pennsylvanians and Ohioans and I think Romney won where it counts the most in Tuesday’s debate. I think PA, WI, IO start to fall like dominos in Romney’s favor. Keeping an eye on MI, even MN. In 2 weeks we will be talking that CA is getting shaky for Obama. Sounds wildly out of the question but it would not surprise me.

One interpretation is to staunch the flow, or to prevent panic. Remember, according to reports today they are broke. News that PA is ALSO slipping might trigger an exodus of the last donors.

By playing in PA, Romney will help Senate candidate Tom Smith who is in a tight race with the incumbent Casey.

Also, if you run the board you have valid claim to a strong mandate, but you have to be careful because Obama claimed a strong mandate and went way too far left.

I hope you’re right John W. Romney isn’t McCain. People see experience and competence in Romney. I honestly believe that Romney winning Pa is a possibility - even a probability. :-)

“Very good numbers from Ohio and a move to PA.unless things are going badly out west it seems that PA might not even be necessary...unless Romney’s plan is to distract Baraq. “

You always need to keep pushing to gain tempo.

This was a premature tweet :-)

It was later clarified to say 60 already in PA, maybe moving more in.

Ok. Can you post clarification? So Obama responded to a premature tweet by releasing internal #s?? Sounds pretty panicky to me.

Are the people in a position to do something about it have a plan to stop obama’s probable post-election ‘scorched earth’ policy?

Hope so because you know it's coming...
