Has anyone seen any data about the gun she used? The hone looked like at least a 40 S&W or larger.

Also, note that the girl seems not to have been hearing impaired by shooting in a closet. Is it possible that hanging clothes muffled the muzzle blast/pressure wave to such an extent that she was not deafened?

She used a .40 Glock which she had never fired before. Says a lot about Glocks usability.

My only issue is that the girl had never used the pistol before. In my house firearms training starts pretty early. I would never want someone to have to use a weapon for the very first time when they are in mortal danger. Major kudos for the girl being able to pull it off. I hope they get her some range time after this.
