I can feel it too. Just waiting for the October surprise that is bound to happen when Obama goes nuclear.
Yeah, I been getting the same tingle up my leg...
I have felt the same way for a couple of weeks now. In fact after the 1st debate. Then the 2nd debate (dare we call it that?) and the laughing baboon was the clincher.
Come Monday night, Romney will skewer O' for good. O' just can't play on the same intelligent level as Romney, as he can't help but bring his RUDE street smart alec, gotcha , boring way of talking to the podium.
He thinks he is still talking to his base, little does he know those people don't watch.
Wisconsin election predictions
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
That would make one great election night!
Forgive me, but I take exception with your comment that there was “very little vetting.” In fact there was NONE. A person that obviously radical, but otherwise unknown, should never have made it to the on-deck circle - much less to first base with any degree of vetting. Thanks to the media’s willful ignorance and duplicity (cheerleading) we the sheeple elected a Marxist, anti-American idiot as our president.
320+? What a weasel. On Oct. 12 I made my daring prediction of 358 EV for Romney.
He's pretty much given up being careful about what he says, he's grasping at straws, counting the days, and contemplating moving to Hawaii in January.
After that, it's the good life, no problems, golf, fat speaking fees, and all the lifetime perks of an ex-president. The temporal heaven of any lifetime public employee with connections.
Me too. Remember all these polls are based on the theory that Dems will turn out in higher numbers than in ‘08. That alone tells you how bogus they are. Now that Romney is tied or in the lead even with that bogus sampling mix, things look really, really good.
Question is how that translates to the downticket. After the first two debates, I’ve seen a general shift to GOP candidates all the way down. Romney is now pulling v. being pushed.
This may well turn into a wave of Reagan-Gingrich-2010 proportions.

And we know that they know and we know that they lie and they know that we know. ;-)
FYI: there’s a poll on Yahoo, lower-center right, asking if the election were held today. Needs FReeping.
I’m sure anyone watching the Al Smith dinner Thursday night noticed Obama looked exhausted, like the 1st debate. This election is taking a toll on him physically.
I totally agree! I went to early vote today (I’m in Las Vegas) and there was a massive line of people..seems people are excited to vote and I doubt they were all there for Maobama.
I am seeing Romney stickers and signs but very few Obama ones.
And for the trivia buffs I think this is the first race since 1916 where neither the president or vice-president take their home states.
Signalman,
I have no idea who you are but, I’ve decided to save your predictions and see how accurate you are when this game is over. I guess I could see Romney winning but, the GOP getting 54 seats seems like a real stretch to me. Are you sure you’re net being a little overly optimistic?
I think you are dead-on. That’s almost exactly how I see the election outcome, and yeah, that’s how elections are, you can almost smell the outcome. In this case kind of like when you evacuate your bowels.
Obama’s campaign has been reduced to talking about “big bird” and “binders”. That is just pathetic with all the serious issues facing this country.
My Predictions 2 weeks out.
I made my prediction on FR before That Ass took the oath: One and done and he’ll be powerless to do anything about it...just like Jimmy Carter. A few months ago I wrote Romney by 4 to 7 (or was it six?) and said that this is the modern version of a landslide.
