In other words the Romneys stay at home every Christmas...
I do too and so do lots of other Americans...
Its not called “giving up anything”
Its called “celebrating the birth of Christ” and “enjoying the family”
“Staying home for Christmas”, and showing up on someone’s doorstep on Christmas eve with arms full of gifts just so that you can try to cheer them up after a tragedy are too very different things. Especially when they have the means to do whatever they want during their vacation.
