Saw this last year. Amazing.

Pawn Stars had an expert on recently bring an original Wanted poster in great condition. Seller wanted $160,000 and turned down $130,000.

Lincoln’s original proposed 13th Amendment popped up a few years ago. Proposed to... Make slavery clearly Constitutional in a final effort to avoid the Civil War.

Lincoln believed blacks were inferior and should be repatriated to Africa. He suspended basic rights such as freedom of the press, habeus corpus, arrested political opponents, was a horrible blunderer as Commander in Chief, and would be remembered differently had he not been shot. Kennedy, of course, had the good fortune of being assassinated as well saving him from being the most failed president of the z20th century.

There’s a new movie about Lincoln, directed by liberal, Republican-hating Spielberg coming out soon. Maybe he’ll insert these little tidbits.

Lincoln did not propose it. It was call the 'Corwin Amendment'. It was put before Congress before he even became president, and the amendment changed nothing. The Constitution written in 1887 already made slavery legal. It was a last ditch attempt to avoid secession.

Lincoln said he did not oppose it because it changed nothing and that he had no intention to interfere with slavery where it already existed. His only campaign promise was to block and further expansion of slavery into the territories. That promise to block expansion was what drove the Deep South into secession.

Read the real history... it is far more interesting than the internet crap that pops up.

Lincoln believed blacks were inferior and should be repatriated to Africa.

So did Thomas Jefferson. Do you hate him too?

“Kennedy, the most failed president of the 20th century.”

?????

I don’t follow how it would have been the most failed Presidency?

Article 1 section 9 of the Constitution gives the president the power to suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus ‘’when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it’’.

He didn't think blacks should be slaves.

And his suspension of civil rights was understandable during a Civil War.
