As a Cubs fan I must hate the Cardinals with a passion, but I’m glad they beat the Nats. They were not a mature team and by the end of the season they showed that. They started to get cocky and believe the hype. The Cardinals don’t do that, they just play and never quit. At this point though I think I want to see a Tigers-Giants WS.

In the middle of August I predicted the Tigers would win the World Series.....although still hoping for my beloved Angels would come from behind and overtake the Rangers and the As. and make it to the play-offs.
I'd like to see Ichiro get a WS ring.
Tigers/Yankees should be a good match up.

At this point though I think I want to see a Tigers-Giants WS.I'm NYC born/raised and old enough to have rooted for the Giants when they were still in NYC - I still do.
I'm also a Yankee fan and looking forward to a NY/SF World Series ... last time was in '62 ... time for revenge.
