I'm NYC born/raised and old enough to have rooted for the Giants when they were still in NYC - I still do.
I'm also a Yankee fan and looking forward to a NY/SF World Series ... last time was in '62 ... time for revenge.
Great points. Most combinations of these teams has a great story. Giants-Yankees as an old-school NY rivalry. Tigers and Cards as a grudge match from 2006. Yankees and Ichiro getting a ring. Triple Crown winner adding a WS ring.
