These are some new photos of former governor Sarah Palin and her daughter Willow in Studio City, California on Sunday. I looked through the photos yesterday, but I couldn’t work up the courage to really write anything about them. My first reaction was actually “Did Sarah Palin get a really bad makeover?” Despite my disagreements with her politics (and I’m studiously attempting to only discuss the superficial here, so play along), I consider Palin an attractive woman, but whatever is going on in these photos is not good. Those highlights look awful. Her clothes look… cheap. And dear God, she’s lost a lot of weight, right? She always had a nice figure. Maybe it’s just the combination of slim-cut jeans and those horrible wedges? She just seems drastically slimmer in these photos, thinner than I’ve ever seen her. What’s going on with her?

Someone started Friday afternoon “happy hour” a bit early.
I think she looks terrible. She looks like she is going Hollywood. The clothes look like something a 20 year old would wear, and her hair has a bad dye job. Her smile looks different.
I noticed she didn’t look as good on DWTS. Tooo Hollywood! I like Alaska Sara!

It’s good that she’s taking care of herself. Exercise is a wonderful stress reliever.
Looka awful. Hollywood and the plastic surgeon have taken their toll.

She doesn’t look thinner to me. Those jeans are very slimming. She was always slender, especially through the waist and hips.
The jeans are okay and even the shoes, but the top is weird. I don’t like it at all.
The makeup is more translucent and pale than she wears on TV, but I like it as it looks natural.
I don’t like long hair on women her age, but this style looks better than the pouffed up curly shag she often sports. I think she would look smashing with s smooth shoulder length do.
