We had a couple bullied kids commit suicide at my school in the 70s.
The love of most grew cold when the Supreme Court approved baby murder. This has to be a factor in the national subconcious of two generations of young people. The law of the land said that murder for convenience was an acceptable thing, how can they have a sense of moral bounderies?
