well the title says it all!
Frank Zappa dwarfs all contenders
Awful doesn’t even begin to describe that list. 3 songs from Zep, 3 from AC/DC, 2 from GNR? WTF? Garbage.
Zero from Van Halen? Zero from Rush? Please.
This Youtube post is so lame ...
These could have been included - in no particular order:
Beatles - Abbey Road [Side II]
Bobby Fuller Four - I Fought The Law
Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar, Gimme Shelter, Heartbreaker, Little T&A
ZZ Top - LaGrange, Legz, Sharp Dressed Man
Rick Derringer - Rock N’ Roll Hootchie Koo
Steely Dan - My Old School, Rikki Don’t Lose That Number
Robin Trower - Day Of The Eagle
Donna Summer - Bad Girls [Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, I think]
Michael Jackson - Beat It [Eddie Van Halen]
Fog Hat - Fool For The City
Pure Prairie League - Amy
Loggins & Messina - You Mama Don’t Dance
Kenny Loggins - Footloose
Mountain - Mississippi Queen
Pink Floyd - Time
Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode
Commander Cody And The Lost Planet Airmen - Hot Rod Lincoln
Chet Atkins - ANYTHING Rock he ever played
AND
Whoever did the guitar work on the Rockford Files theme
Yes, it is.
I got to feeling so sad I’ve got one of my snakes out cuddling him.
[so pardon any potential typos..one hand is typing and the other is keeping him from slithering off the sofa]

Another brick Alice style.

Les Claypool is amazing, I can only describe him as a sort of dark, countrified Frank Zappa.
Another that I'm a little afraid of posting to FR, lol, would be Buckethead - “Spokes For The Wheel Of Torment,” noteworthy due to the animated Hieronymous Bosch painting for a video. It's done in that Monty Python cut and paste style and can be funny but most would likely find it disturbing due to the gore. If you want to see it, it's easy enough to find.
Buckethead is also quite strange and is something of an enigma but is a startlingly accomplished guitarist who has collaborated with numerous musicians and groups, Les Claypool and Primus among them.
Jimi Hendrix- Johnny B. Goode (Hendrix In The West).
The Orange County Lumber Truck...”a-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-Hahhh!”
Any mention of Beethoven’s Fifth?
I’m with you on this one. One of my all time favorite songs!
Sorry but Crazy Train being left of this list immediately invalidates it.
No Frank Marino? Meh.
Bump for later...
#1 Sweet Child of Mine?
In the 90’s the music stores used have to have signs hanging by the guitars that read “NO SWEET CHILD”.
This list is a disgrace ... NO Kinks!!!
Rare Earth: “Get Ready”
From the Made in Japan Album I have that album! Recently bought a turntable that converts vinyl to MP3 and now have the original album on my iPhone. Great stuff!
