Hudson County is predicting a big win for President Obama in tonight's presidential debate with Mitt Romney.
Out of 302 people who participated in The Jersey Journal/Hudson County Now poll , 169 votes (56 percent) said Obama would win and 133 votes (44 percent) preidcted a win by the GOP presidential hopeful.
In Journal Square, today voters were asked who they thought would win the first debate and the answers followed suit with the poll: Obama would win.
Out of four people interviewed, three said that Obama would win the first in the series of debates, and only one person sided with Romney.
"I think Obama will win only because I think he'll be more prepared," said Nelson Mantilla, a Jersey City resident

I should have said in my previous post, long as it was, that much of my family lives in Hudson County. We’re all Republicans, and as usual nobody has attempted to poll us.
Divide 1 by the square root of the number of people surveyed, and that gives you the “margin of error”. In this case, an “error” (statistical term) of 50%. SO this is basically statistically meaningless.
I lived in W.Hudson and I voted for Carter in ‘76. Not in ‘80. RR was my man!
